Marthus has unique cymbal work. That's what I've always liked about his playing. Sure he's fast and he can play double kick fast (yawn), but his cymbal creativity is what really makes him cool to watch.

Just following on from the Joey Jordison comments, yeah he's a fast drummer, but he's sloppy. I've been teaching drums for over 15 years now and the more experienced drummers amongst us (and those with a very keen eye for detail) will notice that Marthus can keep the correct tempo during the 4min+ songs whereas Joey can't. He needs to work on his stamina.
