murray completely bottled it against roddick. it is no coincidence that he has beaten roddick in the smaller tournaments or in earlier rounds of tournaments but when got beat when it really mattered.

he wouldnt have beaten federer anyway. he is on another planet and is too experienced, too street wise and too good for murray.

however murray has time on his side and is far far too early to write him off. he is no3 in the world which is no mean feat.

he had also beaten roddick 6 times out of 8 prior to last friday but never with so much at stake. the same applies with federer. murray has beaten him in smaller tournaments but when it came to the big one in the US open final, federer won very convincinly.

however all the hype surrounding murray is not his own doing. the media has built him up and put this pressure on him. and like i say murrays progress over the past 12 months has been great and im sure he will win a grand slam soon.
