He's not unknown, he's just highly unknown to the contemporary classical scene because he doesn't normally write in this style. As I said, he often writes MUCH more accessible music, and usually works in electroacoustic mediums.

@John11inch Actually, he's written a lot of AMAZING contemporary music. Please check it out, his string quartet is unbelievable.
