@321guineapigz Video to audio synchronization? Then use .flv format (flash video) when you send video (use some converter, maybe VirtualDub). MPG2 and other CODECs are prone to lost in synchronization. Or, did you watched so called 'dropped frames' when you convert analog video to your computer's digital format? If you use PAL system, 25 dropped frames equal whole second. Or NTSC, 30 frames equal whole second in audio delay.
I don't mean to be a hater. But some people who do hypnosis are actually just pressing on a nerve that causes the subject to go in to a mini coma. Maybe I am wrong but that is what it might be
@xAmericanStig read up on hypnosis not the Vulcan neck pinch! This is an instant induction that uses surprise/shock. I have to say that I've never heard anyone make that hypothesis before, and you're not a hater, just incorrect, but it's no biggie!
@ukshotter2005 go to hypnosis.edu AKA HMI institute. They have a very interesting free course called Foundations in Hypnotherapy that upon completion, gives you a certificate as a certified hypnotist (Although I don't know how widely recognized it is). It is about 7 2-hour videos explaining hypnosis. I'm considering enrolling into their year long program to become a certified hypnotherapist
I'd like to see inductions done on people who are not so highly suggestible. It's cool to watch these but I know a lot of people won't go into trance that easily.
'Zapping' is just a term for putting someone into hypnosis. The Cerbone Butterfly Fingers is just as much zapping as the arm-pull, or the inverted induction, or the handshake, or the magnetic-hands, or the flash-flower induction, or the (I could go on and on, but you get the idea...)
I love the Cerbone Butterfly Induction, even though you did use his patter basically word for word, i prefer to go with what comes to me on the fly, i find it much more powerful if you are not just a carbon copy of another hypnotist.
I love the invisibility suggestion though, that was brilliant!
It is very unique for people to accept negative hallucinations. Usually first time subjects are far from that level of "trance" we are talking scale 29-30 on the Bynum scale. So either this person has been hypnotized many times before and thus slides into these profound trance states. So I assume she's been hypnotized many times before. Or this was no real negative hallucination; Trigger eye flicker response verifies this. BUT STILL FUN!
I get negative hallucinations with subjects on first experience all the time. I don't use scales, though. They are either in or out of hypnosis. The focus can be more or less intense, but I can get full-on hallucinations just a few minutes after induction. It is your intent that makes it work, more than it is anything else.
Once you have them hypno'd Tell them: "From this point on everything i say becomes your reality without question, doubt or hesitation, everything i say the instant i say it becomes your Reality, and whenever i say the word Sleep you'll go back to this wonderful deep state of hypnosis instantly, going twice as deep and feeling twice as good, nod your head if you understand me" then give your suggestion.
You need to test the trance levels. Even the Ultimate Suggestion hypnohammer suggested will not work on people in light trances. Test your subjects accordingly to the trance states. First check for flickering in eyes, limb rigidity, limb catalepsy, suggested rigidity, suggested arm stick. Then you deepen a bit further and try the Sleep post hypnnotic suggestion. You then deepen again and can try the other skits. I tend to do a play act with eyes closed before 1st posthypno suggestion.
Personally, I'd recommend the use of fractionation which can serve multiple purposes. First, it is a phenomena in and of itself. Second, each round makes the state more and more intense. And third, it is a great test for you to know exactly where they are. I use a 3-count +snap to bring them up and a sleep + snap command to take them back down.
obviously you haven't realised that the vid and audio are out of sync that's why it looks like she starts to come up on the number one.

Absolutely fake, and absolutely acting. "On count on three..." But she begins to straight up at count of one.
Good hypnotist should recognize this, and say "No, not before three..."

@MilanKarakas It is because there is a problem. (don't know what it is called) the words don't line up with the actions.

I don't believe any of this inductions were primery. It would be cool if someone can present an instant primery induction.

Keep up the Zapping matey, looking awesome.
Was good to meet you at the weekend, hopefully see you on the next one.
All the best,

That's not "zapping" which is really just arm pull shock induction.
This is called the "Cerbone Butterfly Induction".
Notice his "butterfly" fingers on his right hand. And then he pulls the arm with the left hand for a quick mental shock. Relatively simple.

ok, it may well be your trying to get your volunteers to do skits which they just are'nt deep enough to do..
do at least 2-3 simple skits before moving on to disappearing names, numbers etc..
this way, you iron out the somnambulists.

Someone who understands that you need to test trances!

Sounds like you make it harder than it needs to be. But that is just one opinion.

Calibration of trance is very simple. I do this subconsciously after all these years.
