  • Where is part 5?

  • Of course i would love it if Generations were to come back but even more so if they were to bring closure to this last episode and complete the story. Did Henry die? Did Shantall and Eric get back together? to many un-answered questions.

  • joan pringle is wonderful and sexy as ever

  • is there a chance they will ever bring generations back? i know it was cancelled but that cliffhanger was excellent

  • I found a little something to resolve the cliffhanger after 19 years: Henry Marshall had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital.

  • The original Chantall was a lady by the name Sharon Catherine Blanks, She was replaced by Debbi Morgan, But in my opinion Jonelle Allen character Doreen was the best, She made the show worth watching. I wonder if Jonelle Allen keeps in touch with Vivica Fox? Vivica became successful after she did Generations.

  • I believe all the original characters are still alive, They need to do a reunion show. They replaced the original Chantall for the one you see in this video, The real Chantall played fungirl on the sitcom Good Times i forget her real name. I would love to see Jonelle Allen again, the last i saw her she was in a horror movie called Grave Secrets on the scifi channel, The same guy that played her husband in Grave Secrets was in this show Generations.

  • this cliffhanger was good

  • oops i meant Dooreen. lol

  • I never liked Chantal and I was only 12 at the time. lol

  • Good - Ruth came to her senses. There is no reason for a woman her age to give up her marriage and family over a dream of being a "singing star " - LOL!

The storyline I was looking for that never happened on there was for Wally, the young guy working in Henry's store, to turn out to be his long-lost son. He and Adam had an interesting jealousy of each other that would have been even more interesting had they turned out to be actual brothers.

  • Either your comment is sarcastic, or your name is facetious, "fwdthinker"!

Why shouldn't a woman with two adult children pursue a dream she gave up to raise her family??

  • No, I meant exactly what I said.

Kids don't know the difference between a "dream" and a "business". They think it's going to be dancing and singing and clubs and parties. They have no idea how much WORK goes into being a "singing star". And the money is not what people think it is; especially if they signed one of those ridiculous contracts where the record companies end up basically owning them.

Ruth was a grown BUSINESSWOMAN. She knew the game and wasn't hardly trying to get played!

  • I missed the last episode nearly 15 years ago, now i learnt what has happened. thanks :)

  • Oh yeah, remember. Especially Chantall and her lover and Kyle&Sam :)

  • STUPID CLIFFHANGERS!

  • i cant believe this is the eding although so long ago i still wanna know whats gonna happen next!!!!!

  • Somebody Decribe Dorene Jackson

  • If my memory serves me right Doreen Jackson was the wife of Martin Jackson(a business man and future partner with Marshall's ice cream). Doreen had an affair with Adam Marshall and had his baby. Martin either fled the country or went to prison because of fake stock options(or some kind of white-collar criminal action)in Marshall's ice cream. Doreen then hooked up with Daniel Rubins (can't remember what his part was but he was on the run for something).

  • Continuation from my recent reply. Can't remember how she hooked up with Henry Marshall because it has been so long since the show went off the air.

  • I remember watching that episode....It's sad how NBC pulled the plug

  • am i right in assuming that the guy who is having the heart atatck is naked on the bed? it seems so to me

  • No Henry is not naked on the bed...He just has his shirt off...And from what I can see him and Doreen did not do anything besides kissing...Its been more than 15 yrs since this show ended and I hate the way it ended but whatever...Life has gone on

  • Wow. That's how the show ended??? Forever??

  • A lousy ending to a great show. It would have ran longer if it were on another network. NBC is no place for soaps. By 2010 they'll drop Days Of Our Lives and run the Today show all day.

  • Iknow and that's sad

  • LOL! I still don't know why the damn writers chose to end this show so open ended. No closure for any of the characters. What a disrespect to the audience! I remember Doreen was really supposed to the black Erica Kane. Very earnest effort.

  • Most cancelled soap operas leave cliffhangers or dangling plotlines: Edge of Night, Port Charles, The City, Passions . . .

  • Don't forget "Capitol"!!

  • So true. NBC can't hold onto a soap. Generations died a quick death there. So did Texas.

  • white master?! whoa... 90s television was so not ready for this show.

  • Thanks for posting! This show was getting so good just as it ended.

  • Thank you so much for uploading.
