I can't ORGANIZE IT MYSELF, because Michael never had the love here in America that he enjoyed from the rest of the world. Wow guys as far as one of the dancers from ATL this weekend I kinda wanted to apologize for the comments earlier.
This attempt did NOT win as far as I know, but that's because of Guinness strict standards. They apparently require the 6 minute version, this is only the 2 minute version. It was an awesome tribute though.
Our attempt was at DRAGON*CON, not a nationwide attempt, I'm sure had someone broadcast it the way the one in Mexico did we would have had well over the number we did.

America has 50 States, what about a well choreographed dance off to Thriller or Beat It in every State, involving 500 people from every State all dancing on the same day, at an open park or sports arena, at the same time? Sweet heart Dragon*Con is a yearly INTERNATIONAL event that geeks, nerds and sci-fi fans attend. It was advertised via THOSE CHANNELS. Which means those who had signed up were of that sort. Considering the current record is 247, England had 470+ and we had 900? That's a FAR from pathetic turn out.

Actually Mexico didn't break the record. The associated press just broke the news that Guinness didn't accept this 'performance' as they did not follow the guidelines Guinness sets. Right now Guinness is expected to confirm 903 dancers who performed in Atlanta yesterday at DragonCon, they used the right music and the right moves.

vamos a ver, creo que lo importante aqui no es si se contrataron o no bailarines profesionales, pienso que mas importante es que cada persona comun y corriente, gordo flaco chaparro, lento veloz, feo guapo, amable sangron etc se reunio ahi para hacer homenaje a su idolo y como podia trato de bailar, es mas digno que cada persona haya invertido de su tiempo en asistir y ensayar pero hablamoss de *personas comunes* que de cualquier persona profesional en el tema del baile.
