  • @007MrMagoo The drummer here is Jimmy D'Ana you dumb moron!

  • Comment removed

  • @tzzlite Actually its Jimmy D'Anda. LOL

  • had the cassette, played it till it broke, bought another. this shit is for listening to not dissecting to find some sort of hidden meaning or to define a class, era, genre, or anything else. quit being total fucking fags and just listen and enjoy....queers !!!!!

  • Singer has bitchin' hair....

  • people don't let money.....don't let money fool you.

  • Great Cover done by the Bulletboys!!!! This video ROCKS!!!!

  • I saw them re a signing prior to their concert one night. In order, Bulletboys, Winger, and finally, Cinderella. Great concert. Was always a fan afterwards.

  • 90% of the people in here who claims to know something about the original song actually heard it the first time watching The Apprentice. Marq and Mike played in one of the post-Sammy incarnations of Montrose, and Ronnie is a music encyclopedia...this song was from their setlist along with their later cover of Rock Candy. Regarding modern vs. metal era guitarists, there are probably TWO modern guys who can hang with ANY lead guitar player in an 80's metal band: Charlie Hunter and Buckethead.

  • @shanner23 Where the heck did you get your information?? Marq and Mick(Mike) never played in Montrose. Who is Ronnie??

  • Incredible! The metal take brings out the bluesy qualities of Gamble and Huff's song more clearly than the slick, Philly soul production they put on the original. Both have their good points, but this takes the rebel flag of the song up a notch. Rock on!

  • I think this is much better than the original. These guys put so much energy into their music. I love Lonnie on bass. And Mike can play the shit out of a guitar also. Jimmy was killer on drums. Hell, they were all good. Dont get why ppl keep comparing Marq to DLR. IMO, the only thing they had in common was blonde hair and big egos.

  • The original is better but the audio here isn't bad at all. The video however... Ouch.

  • yes, you bioitchs, this was the metal scene. your late you missed the bus, so run along now and cry when your head hits the pillow

  • Let's say in some alternate reality you are right and modern guitarists are playing more "complex" parts. When did complexity become the standard for being great? Way I see it, every song don't have to have a solo but a memorable riff is the bridge between good and great. "Highway To Hell", "Back In Black", "Mean Streets", "Sweet Child O' Mine" are all great because of the instantly recognizable riff. I guarantee you that very few songs from 1995 to present will be remembered in the future.

  • @stringfelowhawk You couldn't say it any more eloquently than that! You hit the nail on the head. Too bad you can't get the ignorant dipshits over the head.

  • One more thing. There has not been ONE single "NEW" guitar player in the past 20 years that could wear the guitar strap of a George Lynch or Reb Beach as players. I'm not talking about the silly bands they were in. I mean as players. I'm not mentioning the guitarists that are universally recognized as GODS. I'm talking in reference to the "complexity" comment of today verses the players of the 80's. Funny you should mention a simple riff like "Back In Black" that was written 30 years ago.

  • And for an example see Nickleback, Creed, Lincoln Park or any other "Nu Metal/Emo" crap. None of them have singers who can actually sing and i won't even get started on unlistenable garbage like Staind or Godsmack. Christ, I miss bands with real singers and not some screamer/whiner/croaker!

  • I can't believe anyone would ever attempt to convince anyone else that guitar players nowadays are playing more complex parts when compared to pre-mid nineties players. That is quite possibly the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard with regards to playing that instrument. It's B.S! From the late-nineties to the present day all you need is a dude that can tune to Drop-D and forget how to play and then a singer with a voice more annoying than a jack hammer and you're top 40.

  • That hip roll at :48 is a lovely use of the pelvis. hahha!

  • Original is so much better

  • el glam personificado buena el resto que se escuha hoy en las radios es basura

  • Make up fags

  • @phoenixfire04 SCREW YOU AND YOUR OCCUPY MOVEMENT....You guys complain about "the rich guys" and yet you allow yourselves to be used as pawns and puppets by the absolutely richest corrupt people there is. They are using you to play a game of financial chess. Right now, believe it or not, you still have the freedom to make something of yourself. Before you act on emotion, read up on history. If this thing succeeds, EVERYONE will lose in the end.

  • @fingerstylefan ignorant faggot, how can we all be wrong?

im occupying your muthers dirty cunt!!!

  • @337acosta -typical foul mouth wannabe who thinks they're entitled to something they didn't earn. Nothin' intelligent to say. Just a bunch of seventh grade phrases that have no meaning.

  • Love how much fun Johnny G is having @ 1:18 Just makes you enjoy the great music all the more!!! RIP Johnny G. I saw these guys in Phoenix in a small club in 96 and I started my first Mosh pit so I could drop this big drunk Indian who was there causing trouble. Marq made it a point to high 5 me at the end of the song. I fucking hammered that big SOB !!!!

    GODDAMN GOOD TIMES MAN !!!!

  • @SNDNGRKLR I dont think thats Johnny G on drums. His name is Jimmy D'Anda. I thought it was Johnny G in the video "Smooth Up In Ya", which was made abt the same time as this video. So, I asked, and got a response. And they told me it wasnt Johnny G.

  • Whats the name of the bass player?

  • @24SweetThing Lonnie Vencent

  • @SNDNGRKLR Thx for the info.

  • the one that play the bass is very pretty

  • This makes to original OJAYS version sound weak and boring. This is SO FUCKING MUCH COOLER IT'S INSANE.

  • I'm not even a hair metal guy, but damn nice cover of an epic song!

  • This is great! i so loved these guys and still have the tapes. He has such awesome vocals!

  • I hate the fucking jonas brothers. Fuck vevo and fuck disney for making the untalented fags famous

Did i mention 2009 ? ok good. he hits play , I started laughing , he says what ? I say saw them live in 86 , ventura theater , left a good friend there because he laged. Been to alot of gigs trust me ,one of the best ever live shows EVER !!!!!!

  • hi

  • THIS TRACK IS PURE STRIPPER MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!! Could be why I love it??

  • GREAT version of this tune. They tear it up live too....killer....

  • wow

  • One of the most underrated bands of all time. These guys ROCK! I play this song and Smooth up in ya everyday in my Ipod while training in the gym. It hits so hard!

  • the singer looks so awkward to me...trying to imitate Dave Lee Roth and looks like a taliban with oxygenated hair.

  • Brillant man, these guys really know how to give the crowd a show!!

  • <<<Mr Thrifty or Bad Neighbor ? You make THE CALL...

  • omg what is with guys and their hair gorgeous

  • BITCH'N AWESOME, WATCH AND LEARN YOU LITTLE MODERN FREAKS!!!

  • Man, totally love the Bullet boys. Living in a mining town back in the late '80's in Australia, these dudes (and Love/Hate (MOST UNDERFERKINRATED BAND EVER!), Motley Crue, Skid Row, Aerosmith, Cinderella, Def Leppard, D.A.D, Van Halen, LA Guns, Kingdom Come, Whitesnake, Saigan Kick), made me want break shit and be different to every other sheep out there. Looking back at the 'hair bands' gives me a laugh, but f$ck me, could they rock and have a good time!

Come to Oz you old bastards!

  • yeah, it sad that my bro Marc Danzeisen was the org. drummer and the current one used to show at the shows and watch my bro to learn the chops and wen my bro left they never said anything about all the contributions that Marc did with the band including the Logo....:(

  • @danzspot , Sorry man, but I went to elementary and high school with Mark, whos real name is Mark Maytorena and grew up in Montebello, Ca. and the original drummer was a guy named Jimmy Deanda who also attended Montebello High School in Montebello, CA which is also the high school location used in Twisted Sister "I Wanna Rock" video. Rock On Mark

  • @Dexduke07 Local cool, chk my channel

  • HUGE VAN HALEN INFLUENCE

  • @Ciabaja and?the caps thing is for what?van halen had influence also,beach boys,kiss,nwobhm ect....these guys rock though,you agree?

  • @lordflanderwell of course i agree

  • @lordflanderwell mark is the offspring off david lee roth and vince neil. yes they rock.

  • sick solo!! also u fags should fuckin die or stop bickering cuz its lame

  • Why can't guys fucking sing like that now

  • I had the pleasure of spending some time with Marq when he toured a few years ago. A good friend of mine was playing bass for him. He still has an amazing voice, he's still in great shape, and he can still shred a guitar. I found a cd while we were on the road that contained a song done by Marq Torien - he covered Bon Jovi's Livin' On A Prayer. I took the cd into his room and he said he'd never heart it. I sat with him as he heard the song for the first time. Cool stuff.

  • so cool! He apparently was and still amazing!

  • this is an amazing cover.

  • Great remake!

  • BEATS THE SHIT OF RAP CRAP....HELL..SOME RAPPER PROBABLY HAS SAMPLED SOME OF THE TRACKS FROM THIS

  • @seanmcdfour20 Its funny that you mock sampling considering this is a cover song. If a rapper sampled For the love of money, they would have sampled the original song by the O'Jays, not this.

  • you girls should go see these boys in concert if you can get a chance. gawd, can he ever do dirty dancing.. puts chip and dales in the shadows, and lust in my heart, and i am an old lady, LOL

  • Did the O'Jays proud. Love this!

  • Embedding disabled by request - its the Bulletboys for gods sake!

  • roadie for two year's... thanx 4 the good times. iydliymi

  • Its Van Halen ver2.0

  • Good, but still prefer OJ's

  • Bullet Boys SIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!! STILL love it since the day it came out.

  • GREAT VOCAL !!!

  • Mark Torien was a great guitarist for RATT, His vocals were great, this band was just under rated! I loved it!!!!!!!!!

  • This is bad ass ~ nuff said ~

  • the 80s was the best year for music i freakin love this bandddddddd woooooooooo that meannnnnnnn greeenn oh mighty dollarrrrrrr yeaaaaaa

  • FReakshow is a damn good album. Other than that I guess average.

  • This guy tried to get that David Lee Roth sound but ended up sounding like a cat that had his balls crushed!! Especially in this song.. Other than that Bulletboys are a fairly good band. I have the self-titled, Freakshow and Za-Za albums.

  • I totally agree dirtysoap1.. If we could only relive the 80s for the music I would forsure!!!!

  • Bulletboys are the shit even if the bassist always had his pants unbuttoned.

  • These men look like women..... but this isnt a JRPG....

  • Their lead singer is kinda pretty in a Lenny Kravitz sorta way, but damn she needs to shave her armpits.

  • these guys were great. Too bad this era ended before they could reach theyre prime. they remind me so much of The Early Van Halen. Great Talent, underrated. same goes for those other hair bands that came around at this time like white lion, firehouse, trixter, etc.

  • @80smetalmaster5150 and Skidrow?..

  • we need more radio stations that plays this kinda stuff becouse it kicks the crap out of what they play now. the 80s should and will live forever i agree what happened

  • I wonder what The O' Jays thought about this! This kicks ass!!!

  • i just heard this song on the radio and i had to find this song. damn these men are pretty lol, i'm suprised i'd never heard of them before, they sound awesome.

  • Hey guys I'm a huge fan of the BulletBoys, And I felt I had to let everyone know, they announced at a live show that they are going to be re recording their first 1988 self titled album in march, so it will probably be available to us somewhere april-may 2011. And Until then I'm going to be posting every bulletboys song from 1988-2009, I love all their work and have a lot of respect for Marq, for keeping the boys going. Hope to see You guys in 2011 if you tour. Haha please stop at Ohio!

  • ive been listenin to this since about 89 , legend!!!!!

  • I can say that even though i added hip hop and pop music to my roster of what i listened to alongside of country and many other kinds of music, rock/metal is what i grew up on and what i still listen to alongside of what i listed above. This is one of their best!!!!!!

  • amazing band always loved them only wish they had gone further and gotten more recognition

  • Bah, todays music does bite, I'm hoping after highschool I can join or form a band, with an old 80's feel to it. They really knew what they were doing back then didn't they? Haha.

  • I still say Marq Torien looks like Lt. Harris from Police Acadamy.

  • @obxjeepguy LOL Man you're on the money with that one!!!

  • My favorite from this band....awesome cover.

  • Donald Trump's theme song for 2012 Presidential Run!!!!! He has my vote!

  • Heck Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rock my world!!!

  • fantastic, this song , I like the smooth.. better, but all the kids are outta school tioday

  • i just heard this song on VH1 classic and i never heard of these guys, then i looked up more of their music is they are really kickass

  • I could just kiss that guitar player!

  • David Lee Roth look. Ian Gillan vocals. Killer!

  • @Sincopare Saw these guys back in the day @ the old Hammerjacks here in Baltimore, Md. One of the first things you notice about Mark Torien was that he had this David Lee Roth vibe about him. But you're spot on about the vocals. And Dave, too was also compared to Ian as well... back in the day.

  • This is the best arrangement of The Love of Money I have ever heard.

  • Not bad for a band out of Montebello,Ca

  • @michaels2boys

I didn't know this band at all. There's so much great bands of the 80s that are unknown in France, cause this kind of music never been showed on TV at this time. We knew about " classic" bands : AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Scorpions; but there was just one program, on saturday night that played hair metal. I was stuck on my TV with eyes open wide... T'was the good time! Today thanks "you tube", for all this music!! It's done I get back to my drums!!

  • The singer 's got the same kind of voice than Paul Shortino. I love that touch of soul in a powerful song...

  • @cricribi1 Looks like David Lee Roth and sounds like Paul Shortino. Good call on the voice cricribi1!

  • I remember when these guys hosted MTV Head Banger's Ball one night. Their two videos always got a ton of air play.

  • THATS WHY IM WITH A 28YR OLD AND IM 48 COUGARS RULE! WE GOT THE BEST MUSIC.

  • 3 people don't love money.

  • great band!!!!

  • gay!!!!!!!!!!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Thought I been around the block. Heard it all. Marched against Vietnam. Watched WTC fall down. High. Low. Studied music. Played music.

Damn. GOOSE bumps. Glad I heard this, man.

  • I got to see Great White, Steelheart, and Bulletboys in 92 in Cleveland. Man what a show. MIss those days and those shows. FIrst concert i ever saw was Great White, Tesla, and Badlands. Good times, good times.

  • The O'Jays made this funk song. This is kinda a remix to it than a cover. Also, what is the lead singer (I believe Marq Torien, if Wiki is right) ethnicity?

  • They turn me on soooooo much, loved him better with black hair though. Hate guys with dyed hair... xx

  • Dear Santa can i have what @mistressboot gets ?

  • GREAT COVER NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.

  • Dear Santa, I would like Mick Sweda for Christmas... I've been a very good girl... but please make him the 1989 version because that long dark curly hair really does it for me :)... thanks Santa

  • Does anyone else think the singer looks just a tiny little teensy-weensy bit like the the asshole police lieutenant from the police academy movies...? i've thought that for years...

  • @Doigyisabenny HAHA oh wow! Lt. Harris?!?!?! He totally does! Wow, good call!

  • @Doigyisabenny Hah, hah....fucking totally!!!!!!!!

  • @Doigyisabenny

    Captain Mowser? A-Yowser, Yowser?

  • @Doigyisabenny ...."Proctor!!!!"......

  • @Doigyisabenny Yep! Never thought about it before.

  • I would do that guy in a millisecond! You are so insecure! You must be ugly....

  • @Doigyisabenny laughed my ass off on ur post. he absolutley does.

  • @Doigyisabenny Yes, almost dead on!!

  • @Doigyisabenny --i can't stop laughing at your post! :)
