Why would she think that calling a stegosaurus a porcupine be an insult? I work in a vet clinic and I've seen what porcupines did to dogs and I can tell ya this: A stegosaurus take the porcupine comment as a compliment.

Man I had this one on VHS! Boy this brings back memories. I still have a lot of the old toys. Most of the armor is broken or gone, but I have the dinosaurs themselves -- T-Rex. stegosauras, pteranodon, dimetrodon, deinonychus... Holy this thanks for putting these up!

I think though that the writers wanted to have all the evil looking dinosaurs on the Rulon Side to enhance the badness of the Rulons.
Still, the Dino Riders have Raptors on their side and they're lethal predators too so in my opinion, they should be allowed some other predatory dinosaurs too. After all, the Rulons have plant eating dinosaurs on their side too.
Notice the T-Rex's eyes randomly go red when he bites the Stegosaurus at 1:58. All the dinosaurs' eyes go red when they get brainboxed. Did he randomly get brainboxed into biting him?
I don't think we should bring realistic observations in a cartoon where dinosaurs are being press-ganged en masse by humas and reptiliane humanoids who traveled back through time after a space battle.
It is funny that I got so much dinosaur fact from this show, but its also chronological incorrect. Surely DImetrodon and Stegosaurus didn't exist in the same era of the T.Rex. More funny is that the T.Rex existed only under five millions year.
Oh i know what that is, a Dimetrodon, it went extinct way before the dinosaurs! I love how they mix up dinosaurs and their time eras but then again we wouldn't have a trex head on with a stegosaurus he would be fighting a smaller, more agile and probably smarter canosaur,Did i hear allosaurus?

I always liked the toys associated with this show. I think the toys based on shows made around this time are higher quality than the flashy stuff they put on shelves now.
Actually there are blacks in LOTRs, in the books people from the eastern parts of Middle earth, specially to the southeast of mordor are black. Not all but some. Cant remember correctly right now but the "Varyags from Khan" or some thing like that were the black dudes in LOTRs.
What I like about this show is the voice that introduces during the intro. Very few good cartoons have a good voice to introduce the story during their intro(s).

Geography can be just as useful, Knowing terrain can help make the main characters get an edge on the enemy, writhe in pain in weather, or get lost in unexpected territory. shows how much you take into consideration about the "little things"

I was about 5 when I saw this. I loved this show. Had most of the robotic toys. I never got to see anything past episode #1 though. I have waited 19 years to see episode #2! OH, the Memories (I can still remember the dialog). Thanks from my inner child's Heart.
Oh, wow... I totally loved this show when I was little. Unfortunately, I was born in '88, so all that I got to see of this were the videotapes that I'd find at places like half-priced books, or something. Still, waaay better than any of the junk they're showing on tv these days. I think everyone who grew up during the 80's or early 90's wanted to be a paleontologist when they grew up.

It's always "Once and for all" with these 80s villain types. Then they start this huge scheme that is balanceed on the tiniest of details that invariably gets messed up. They should start wearing down at their enemies with smaller stuff that is accomplished easily, and thus builds toeards something.
I love how they could never play this show to kids because there is blood, and just un PC... but that is why the kids who grew up on this are the greatest generation, forget that whole WWII generation all they did was you know stop Hitler... But the Dinoriders would have done it faster.

Wait a minute. Those 2 dinosaurs aren't from the same time period. Stegosaurus is Jurassic while the Tyrannosaurus is from the Cretaceous period!

It's a cartoon series called Dino-Riders...
It came out in the 80's, before you were born.
It's not Pokemon or Yu Gi Oh or any of the current cartoon that's showing on tv.
It was made in the decade when a lot of decent cartoons came out.
