Very nice XDm 3.8 Kyle. I would recommend you learn the Four Universal Laws of Gun Safety

1) The gun is always loaded.

2) Never point a gun at something you are not prepared

to destroy.

3) Always be sure of your target and what is behind it.

4)Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are

on the target.

@bestvidsdottk I hope your just making a joke. I have had less jams with my XD's than any of my glocks. in fact in 6000 or so rounds one XD has only jammed once due to crappy reloaded ammo. Most guns are pretty good today XD and Glock are equal.

And to the girl in the video the gun isnt a toy dont treat it as such, go take some firearms handling lessons and dont pretend its a toy gun waiving it around.

@sdelcegno Owned 2 XD's(at different times). Owned them because they have a great feel to them and I like the safety's. They jammed at least once every 4 visits to the range. There not that as accurate as a Glock. It's not just me who trusts Glocks . FBI, CIA, and many Municipalities trust them aswell. AND THAT STUPID MAG RELEASE ON THE SPRINGFIELD!

2. Hitting the slide lock

99% of the time with an XD it isn't the weapon malfunctioning, its the person holding it.

@baldusa32 Its not EVERYSINGLE time and i'm not talking about shooting at 9 yards 30+ and its not as accurate as my Glock. And the ambidextrous mag release is annoying and prone to getting tripped on accident. Quit with your 99% of the time shit you fucking simpleton. They don't have a track record any where near Glocks.

Most people new to firearms tend to make bold statements such as yours and I was attempting to help you keep some dignity. However I must digress, I don't think any effort that I could impart would be sufficient to overcome the obvious.

My statement to you was not a comparison to Glock's in any way. They are an OK weapon for some people, others that want quality, a fully supported chamber and a few other features that are not available may shy away from them.

Simply put, no single manufacturer is going to appeal to every customer. When making broad comparisons to quality, it would go a long way for anyone interested in this type of discussion to actually do research on the topic.

Maybe once you have had time to expand your knowledge on the subject we can visit this apples vs. oranges discussion again.

I have a little insight being I am a 20 year veteran of federal law enforcement I am putting in my 2 cents here...no federal LEO's carry a glock SIG and Para Ordinance are what is standard issue. You can carry a Springfield 1911 or XD, Kimber, or S&W but you are not allowed to carry a glock if you choose a backup. A few municipal law enforcement units issue them to their beat officers. SWAT, task forces, and any special units do not carry a glock.

I have put over 100,000 rounds through my XD 40 with 1 misfire, close to 60,000 through my XD 45 and had no issues, almost 30,000 through my XDm 40 and no issues. I shoot IDPA with my XD 40 and shoot USPSA with my XDm and I will out shoot myself any day compared to what I would shoot preciously with a glock.
