man alive, honky sold so well. he was such a great heel. we all hated him, and loved to see his arse get pounded. not a hall of famer, but good for his era.
It's great watching these old clips just because the crowd REACTS. I watched the Mysterio/JBL match from WM25 and there was almost NO reaction whatsoever from the crowd during their entrances, let alone the finish of the match.
Am I correct that Demolition also wrestled the Brain Busters at this same venue on SNME Memorial Day Weekend 89? I am assuming this was from the same show because the SNME banners are up and this is the exact same arena where that match took place. Or did WWF hold two shows that weekend at the same arena?
... i like Heenan's foreshadowing of the Brain Busters refusing to defend their titles at summerslam... "we would insist on defending the titles whenever possible"
thanx 4 the upload. it's been 21 years since I saw this match. this is one of the matches I remember the most like yesterday. 3:52, Gorilla trying to stir it up between Heenan and Hart.
darsow works awful light

@forrestmaker
And an impressively long Intercontinental Championship reign.

@forrestmaker If Koko B Ware is a hall of famer, then Honky should be too. His IC title reign alone should get him in.

This is from 1989, not 1990.
because in 1990, Greg Valentine's hair was jet black.

and you can tell from the nameplate graphic which is circa 87, 88, and very early 89

@bigvern624 and this was my favourite nameplate graphics.

@Rob23 true, but Valentine still had the blonde hair during the first couple of months or so of 1990.
