I'm a rhythmic gymnastics coach and I know how homophobic the sport of gymnastics can be. In my club there was a boy doing men's gymnastics who really wanted to do rhythmic so I fought for his right to join my class. But the club wouldn't let him compete because they were scared of "those things people would say". It's great to see people in the sport I love so much telling people like this kid it's okay to be who you are. Thank you :)

Thank you so much for this! Im a gymnast and Its hard finding people in this overly masculanized sport that are willing to understand or be accepting of differance. Its great to have this, and to have you guys speaking out about it,especially guys that are accomplished like you are.
