My family came from Fuzhou, Fujian, but do u know there are many different dialogues in fujian, my family speak fuzhouese. When i watched one of ur previous video, ur mom doesnt sounds like speak fujianese. I have a friend from HK, going to school in america, both of u guys speak english with no british accient, i was amazed

@Open2Fusion oh, I know someone who is born in fuzhou and moved to hk at a young age and she just moved to canada and is also really good at english... speaks cantonese and southern mandarin.. interesting... people from fuzhou are naturally like that?? haha

@z3329885 Hmm? I didn't say they didn't speak fuzhou dialect. Of course people from fuzhou can also speak fuzhou dialect, but most people also speak mandarin with a southern accent. My friend can also speak Cantonese. I'd say her cantonese is best, followed by mandarin, followed by fuzhou dialect. Also, I have been there so don't assume I don't know what I'm talking about, I used to live in China and I speak Mandarin Chinese as well.

@tooosweeet i didn't assume, miscommunication actually "ppl frm fuzhou are naturally like that...", but since you say so how about this, actually ppl who aren't frm guangdong, lived an extensive amount of time in guangdong or have canto roots don't give a shit about canto, they just speak mando like every other normal chinese person...also with the influx of mainlanders into abc populated areas you mostly hear them speak with a northern accent which is the standard accent.

@z3329885 no worries, you're right, nobody could care less about Cantonese in the north. Cantonese is more foreign than English, I also didn't care until I went to HK a couple years ago (I was living in central china). I joked "people from fuzhou are naturally like that?" because open2fusion and my best friend are both from fuzhou (if I remember, my comment is so old) and both can speak 3 dialects of chinese and perfect english. Sorry about the confusion.

My parents are really chinese Chinese lol Theyre Fujianese and they know mandarin and Cantonese too. I understand fujianese and can speak a tiny bit. I can speak mando and canto (but alot better in canto)
