Speaking for my self I drive an older SUV (15 mpg) and I would very much like to trade for a newer more fuel efficient vehicle. But when you go to trade as you well know you dont get much for your trade with having an older car, making it discouraging to want to buy a new car. This bill H.R.1550 will help balance that out.

Really? I Googled Montreal Protocol and found that EU signatories had compliance problems and that China and India got a free license to "pollute" by being "developing nations" same as Kyoto. Have you "Googled" Canada noncompliance with Kyoto? Seems they've fallen short of the holy green grail, hell-for a time even the Japanese were out of compliance with Kyoto. Bloviating? Science in general is winning out or is science you like winning out?  How exactly are we fixing Global Warming? How exactly are we causing it and are we the cause? Carbon emmissions continue to rise annually, yet temps have been dropping for over 10 years. Are we "fixing" anything when we offshore energy-intensive industry to countries without environmental standards? A child could conclude that net pollution would rise in such a scenario. Go ride in Al Gore's limousine motorcade.
