I love her! Seeing her at Sydney Opera House this Saturday. This is one of the best interviews I've seen with any musician. Love the way it just goes all over the place, and she's allowed to express herself in full. You wish the interview would go on longer.
fantastic! great interview. if only more music and interviews with FEMALE ARTISTS had this much integrity respect and Talent on both sides. cheers to all. xx
she is. She's so genuine and sincere. Just a free spirit, lights up the room, has a carefree aura/personality. How could you not want to be around her?
I agree Mike I feel like at least in the US each generation is less and less capable of being... people. For instance, I can't see any of our talented young musicians sitting down and having these conversations like this one (or the similar Lisa Hannigan electric picnic interview). They're too full of... bullshit?
There's something so desirable about her. Her sincerity, integrity, humility, hope, compassion, her self-knowing.. She's just so human and has all of the beautiful personality traits that a lot of girls tend to lack because of their own sense of insecurity and disillusion.
She's the sort of girl I could talk and relate to about anything, for hours and days and years.
To top it all off she's an amazing, uncompromising artist and completely and uniquely beautiful. Infatuating.
i like it, because it's just a conversation.. flowing topics that all relate to each other rather than a set of questions that jump from one to the next without consideration of the answer. really unique, and beautiful.. just like natasha
@musicispower25 he was so lovely, it didn't seem like he was interviewing her at all, just like they were two people sitting having tea and chatting with each other. and then you see idiots like letterman who are rude and pushy and condescending and awful to the poor person they're interviewing, like it's not enough pressure to be put on the spot already!
(continued) sing/write music by Nirvana/the grunge scene, I heard she liked them/was influenced, but didn't know it was like her main/first ispiration and that she eaven dressed herself in the kinderwhore style! Hehe that's so awesome, since that's exactly what's inspired me to learn guitar/attempt to write music. She's just amazing, I love her. :) <3
This woman is fucking amazing, an extremely talented, sincere and beautiful artist. I remember hearing about her on and off a while ago, I sort of brushed her off, thinking she'd just be 'another indie artist', but after hearing her Two Suns album properly, I've became practically obsessed with her, she's all I listen to at the moment haha. Because she really is one of the most uniquely brillant artists to arise the last decade. Now I can't believe to hear that she was first influenced to
he mightnt have all the razzle dazzle of an established tv presenter but he did a well rounded exploration of her as a person and we got to know her more than we would if she was being interviewed on pretty much any other show
gaga looks so desperate for attention with her crazy outfits and her verbal diarreah, and her music wears out very quickly, it's repetitive and has not substance.
Gaga is shit compared to Natasha Kahn she shouldnt even been mentioned in the same conversation as Natasha she's an innovative artist and gaga is fotter for the mindless masses who dont think about the music they listen to. There really is no comparison
exactly. natasha makes really interesting, innovative, and ethereal music that's not poppy or trying to reach as many people as she wants. it's more about the music for her than fame, seeing as that's all lady gaga is obsessed about.
i find it hard to believe that nobody else listening to her can see through her guise of being warholic and/or postmodern. lady gaga wants to be seen as "quirky and weird" because she KNOWS that's what people like. natasha just naturally is intriguing.
gaga is manufactured, fake, pretentious, and uncaring.
and how is natasha boring? she's so interesting and not like "SEE GUYS I HAVE TEACUPS CAN I BE COOL AND 'WEIRD' NOW??" like gaga is. everything she does is for more attention, you do know that right?
even down to her comment about being "bisexual". i mean, really? no you're not. you're just a slut who'll take whatever you'll get.

bjork - its pretty obvious. look at how natasha is being promoted on facebook. Parlophone does that i guess. the line goes like : 'Bjork fans love here, have a listen'
I had a second listen and i kinda starting to like Bat for Lashes, got it from hmv :)
i think that's exactly how she likes it, her music is on the personal level, she's not afraid to speak her true mind about serious things like edu"macation" and life in general, but then giggle about it a few seconds later! : ) Lady Gaga shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as Natasha, her words could turn gaga's soul to ashes.
Haha The Worst Witch, I was thinking just that and then she said it!! God, Im in love...
And the interviewers alright, I'd rather have him than the interviewers who just want to ask things like "So you've got a new album out," etc. Its nice to see an interview where they just have an interesting conversation
