This type of writing is one of the MANY reasons that this show was so brilliant (not to mention the flawless acting). I love how this scene cuts through all the "bullshit" and spin, and presents dialogue about a modern issue the way normal people at home in America would discuss it. This show was not afraid of going there, and that's why people fell in love with it.
Can you imagine if Bill and Hillary happened to be watching this scene together one night!!! I wonder how they would have felt about it?? Love it.

Sharon Angela was wonderful in that show! She became my favorite side character. The scene where Carmela tell Rosalie about Furio is priceless:
"Did ya f*** him?"
"No."
"Because if ya had, Tony would have to kill him."
