Well American soldiers have historically relied on numbers and not on quality of personnel or experience. Thats probably the reason why US has never conquered North Korea.

Well obviously, walking on broken glass makes one's feet skin much tougher as well as improves self-control (which is the point of many of these exercises). Especially with two men on his back. Breaking anything with head makes people fairly resistant to knock-outs. What I don't understand is the iron nail thing they do.

You're making all of the wrong comparisons. North Korea is not so poor that it can't equip its soldiers with rifles. In an urban environment or gorilla warfare setting, a soldier with superior martial arts training and a gun > a soldier with moderate martial arts training and a gun. Not to mention that North Korea has the largest standing army in the world.

So the Viet cong attacked in civilian crowds and sent children strapped with bombs into bases. The US forces in panic fired on everyone. The media then portrayed the US as monsters. Same thing is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan. The war was a political loss, not a military loss.

If they hide in the grass, you can thermal imaging and then you can use a stealth bomber.
If they hide in cave's you have bunker busters. Even bombs that fly into the cave.

But if you put a delta force member in a fight against a north korean soldier with no weapons i guarantee the north korean would win. North korea trains their soldiers with no regard to human life. Therefore N. korean soldiers have a harsher and more brutal training regime. Not to mention martial arts is 1 of the things they train the hardest on.

If this were the middle ages, North Korean could forge a mighty empire. Today, their military would be entirely obsolete if not for their nuclear bomb and ability to bombard South Korea with conventional munitions. But that's all they have - a bomb and a limited range barrage. Hopefully their soldiers can kick bullets and missiles out of the air.

Same thing happened in Vietnam, but there was no serious fighting on the ground in North Vietnam to call for a stalemate that would be honored by the North Vietnamese communists.

Well obviously, walking on broken glass makes one's feet skin much tougher as well as improves self-control (which is the point of many of these exercises). Especially with two men on his back. Breaking anything with head makes people fairly resistant to knock-outs. What I don't understand is the iron nail thing they do.

You're making all of the wrong comparisons. North Korea is not so poor that it can't equip its soldiers with rifles. In an urban environment or gorilla warfare setting, a soldier with superior martial arts training and a gun > a soldier with moderate martial arts training and a gun. Not to mention that North Korea has the largest standing army in the world.
Though... I don't think they have any means of transporting them in a timely manner T_T

Also, we can't compare this to Vietnam or Afghanistan b/c it's a different kind of war. We can, however, compare it to WWII. The Japanese were battle hardened fanatics willing to sacrifice themselves to achieve victory. Look how that turned out.

So the Viet cong attacked in civilian crowds and sent children strapped with bombs into bases. The US forces in panic fired on everyone. The media then portrayed the US as monsters. Same thing is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan. The war was a political loss, not a military loss.
