it doesnt clunk, only when u drop from a too high speed and its a nice drive. just wish it was louder and wasnt fuel injected coz it means a fuel processor if u want it to run nice with a new exhaust which is another £177. plus there aint much in terms of customising. well i havent seen much anyway. still a great bike
I bought a used 2007 a week ago, pound for pound, my favorite cruiser. You can do clutchless shift, but why?
Yes it does lerch a bit from neutral to 1. That's pretty standard.
The yellow looks sexy man. I was only about black when I got mine, looking back, would have considered other schemes, but the black and chrome is still hot.
That's what I don't like about cruisers. The manufacturers think they must have inferior gear boxes. My friend's kawi zzr 1200 has a silky-smooth one. Silky-smooth shifting enhances the riding pleasure; the clunky one kills all the fun.
I think, I'll buy gladius and make it 2 inches lower.
I agree with your statement. I like feeling power and hearing it. I don't like feeling or hearing something I feel is gonna fall off or break the damn bike every time I operate it.
@juneride YES you can do a clutchless shift, i did it kinda accidently, and yes it does clumk when you go from neutral to 1st...I have 06 m50 2200 miles...but this bike is very well built and has a great power band and the fat tires upfront gives you great stopping power ,and it has great cruising distance 4.1 gallons a 48mpg and it runs with 900cc bikes, plus the center of gravity is low,it handle great with the inverted forks
Considering the M50 has the same motor as the S50, only fuel injected, it probably wouldn't make much of a difference, so don't be an asshole. I have this exact same motorcycle, 2008 Boulevard M50 Special Edition, and it makes more than enough power to carry my 240lb ass at well over 100mph. Great looking bike, man.
i have a 08 blk/yellow. great bike..i have a power com. roadburner pipes and tornado intake. pushing 60hp. handles great. I have friends who ride all types of bikes and they love this one..rode it around for the hd reunion in milwaukee last year and 2 hd engineers took pics and loved the style..
I'm picking up my M50 '08 in about an hour (after a test drive of course). Same color as yours, too. Glad to see so many positive things about it on the web and other forums.
I'm looking to buy one of these bikes, looking for some input, except for any from stunledez03, who's going around to all videos with this bike in it and going on about his CBR. Sport bikes and cruisers, apples and oranges, man. Any suggestions? I like cruisers and I can't afford any, like, $10,000 bike. The $7000 price tag on one of these is very nice.
I picked up my M50 (yellow) about a month ago...great bike...no complains what so ever...this is my first non-sport bike ever, been riding for 10 years....and to be honest I'm not missing the crouch rockets one bit...(and my wrists and back feel awsome)this bike performs amazingly...I have heard some people complain about the seat and pipes...to me they are fine....
and the price tag...sweet!!!...insurance...even sweeter
Not really confused just appreciate quality. I was dissapointed with this bike thats all. Not what I thought it was gonna be. It was Ok at best. Would highly recommend test driving bikes before buying them
Great looking bike ! I bought a 2007 a few months ago, rode it part of november then put it away for the winter. I'm in Nova Scotia. These are awesome bikes, I would have liked having the bigger version, but the 800cc is the better looking bike. And it has plenty of power for what I need it for. congratulations! Look me up if you ever tour up here in Canada !
wtf? no tach?

I want to buy one but I'm hesitating. I'll never buy a bike if the gearbox is not silky-smooth.
Does it clunk when you go from neutral to first? Can you do clutchless upshifts?
Who knows?
juneride 2 years ago
You wanna do clutch less upshifts you should look at a sport bike. This isn't a GSXR.

If this is the M50, then why does it show up when I do a search for S50? The S50 would kick it's ass anyhow, it's lighter.

Hey UptonEMT..Have you checked out the Hyosung GV650? They are around 6300.00usd.
V-Twin 650 cc but 72 horsepower! I like the M-50 but take a look at that GV650 too.
Keep the rubber side down!

I'll be sure to do that, thanks man!
