loved the vid! i have your shape/glass vids. did my 1st board last year. your lessons r simple and ez to follow but dumb me threw out your advice to go flat and put single concave to V last 3rd but TOO much V in the tail on my modfish quad. it surfs ok down the line but as soon as i want to put the breaks on to gouge or cut it boggs. Oh well had a blast shaping it so thanks again!!

@iggyfig What kind of fins are you using? You may want to put on a different set of fins to help make the baord more loose.

cheers. curious how wide is the tail (not 12" in) I'm looking to do a 5'6"

Great shape man I'm looking to shape my 1st as well but it will be my 1st board ever! What US Blanks shape did you begin with? and what are the basic dimensions of the board?

2 7/8" thick
