  • Actually, no, sound is not bad because of what the didges are made of. I play with Vlad all the time and those two didges are great. The sound is not so great because I recorded this using a built-in mac laptop video camera.

  • Sound is bad cause yucca and agave are cactus not eucaylptus. In it's defence back pressure is amazing, easy and cheap to make. Also they are helping save on the over cutting of the eucalyptus. Oh also they are perfect didges for a beginner to start with. Ps wear gloves when cutting these babys or you will be bleeding.

  • @thylicine

yeah thay can be bad alright. i got stuck in the vein by one under my watchband on the nullabor in south australia and nearly bled to death, lol.

ive made 22 didges from agave now....way lighter, easy to play and great back pressure.

....and better for our native eucalyptus trees here as well (as you said).

the eucalyptus didges give a much better, cleaner and sharper sound i think though.

  • Very cool. Are those yucca or agave? I used to make yucca didjes in Joshua Tree, CA.

  • I think they're agave.. I'll ask Vlad.

  • the sound quality is terrible xD but im sure it sounded alot better in person :P
