I loaded Froyo 2.3 on my HTC HD2 a couple of nights ago and man, I hardly every use the windows OS anymore. I also installed one of the boot-loader builds from Xda which afforded me the choice of booting to either Windows or Android at startup. This is a great way to run android through its paces without compromising your OS or voiding the warranty.

@piwa28 you need to do a hard reset. hold the power button down and the volume buttons down at the same time. and wait till you see a white screen with wording. after that push the volume up and then up again. after that your phone should restart. as a brand new phone. if it doesn't then your phone is dead.
