It buys you a little more zoom fom the HV-30 and sharper focus on the Ground Glass. Hard to belive that more glass would give you more light.
I started out with the E model and ordered the Acromat as an upgrade, you could just buy an a 58mm Optecka 10X macro from Ebay for a little cheaper. Having the Macro as a separate element is handy.
What do you do for the flipped image? I am thinking about sending my hv30 to JAG35 to do the flip hack.

Is the pro better than the E primarily due to the lack of vignette at the corners or does it buy you some light as well?
