There is a seaon 3 and season 4 is in production. The cast for s3 is entirely different (apart from Effy) and IMO the original cast was far better.

They were never a couple, Tony went down on Maxxie on a school trip to Russia and that was that. But after something happened to Tony (I won't spoil it for you) Maxxie was amazing to him when everybody else except maybe Effy had walked away.
