One problem i have with the Reviving The Islamic Spirit video, is having Sami Yusef... We should NOT be listening to Sami Yusef as he is a SINGER...People who read islamic poetry are okay, but having a singer on stage? Come on.....You give a lecture on Islam, and then you have Sami Yusuf sing?

@1232moe He is singing about Islam did you know non muslims listen to him and i saw comments by non muslims saying he is good and the songs are nice, he made non muslims get a good image on us. He sings about Islam peacefuly, you realize there are A LOT AND A LOT of people who became muslim just from muslim singers before Sami yousef

Just read the suras and you'll see how "Muslims " are ....Christians abused that power long time ago with the Inquisition saying it was in the Bible , they abused the power of spirituality . Muslims are the same ,

@djautumn3 "bad Muslims" vs. "good Muslims"...? In reality, there is no distinction. True Muslims would never harm anyone or anything. "Bad Muslims" shouldn't be considered as Muslims since they aren't following Allah's message.

& Muslims shouldn't be BASHING idolaters, HOWEVER, we should be protesting against anything we don't agree with (which has be done... but the government has responded in a disastrous way, and as a way of defense, PEOPLE began bashing... not necessarily Muslims)

@djautumn3 even muslims who really follow Rasul SAW are not supposed to be saying anything that hurts anyone even if he/she is not muslim. we are taught to talk only good things, if we cant do that then we keep silence. that's way much better. Imam Ghazali ra in his Bidayatul Bidayah says watch out your tounge since it is mainly the reason why most people are thrown to hell. And the best to give advice to people whom you think they do wrong doings, is when you do it individually (in secrecy)

@FreeLibya1992 Qadaffi was a torturer- he killed innocent ppl and Libyans suffered for a long period of time... HOWEVER, it is Allah's job to punish him for his wrong doings. In Islam, it is wrong to kill others, especially in such a brutal/scarring manner. The way Qadaffi was killed is UNISLAMIC. Tariq Ramadan was telling us that we need to be the leaders of our society. If someone steals ur belongings, u'll go steal theirs? NO. You'll be mature about it & report the person/ take them to court.
