  • To me,The tone on the the spruce is pinpoint whereas with the cedar each note has a bigger nucleus the cedar is more robust and the spruce almost sounds like a flamenco

  • Holy shit.

  • Came here to compare spruce and cedar, and ended up mesmerized with the music. <3

  • cedar wins easily

  • cedar

  • cedar obviously

  • Admittedly, I am listening to low res samples, but I cannot detect very much difference between the 2 guitars. Scott is a MUSICIAN, not an automaton. He express his ideas THROUGH the guitar, not ON it! He would do a good job on a strung packing case. He is in full control of the medium of the moment, getting it to emit the message he is feeling from within himself - obviously, within boundaries.

  • cedar wins

  • thats your opinion doesnt make it true we all know spruce is king and dont forget it .

  • @nebonzo Between these two yes. Not in general though.

  • no problem...i'll just play campanas de alba perfectly twice in a row.

  • @sleazebee he played without repetitions = played it just once ;)

  • @krzynka1 lol...i suppose that is true ;)

  • Wow, great performance!!! 5 stars
