I remember when i was six i asked my mom to record it off the tv with the vcr and I watch it all the time until the tape was ate up. then when i got a job i bought the whole volume series and was in a state of shock about the change in music. also, i cried every time Nancy was killed.
i must be the only one who prefered this music to the other lol
the only reason why they used this one when this was re released on dvd and video was they lost the music rights to the other so had to replace the music
eventually they got the rights back blah blah blah
@YourEternalFriend And the coffee sort of conjeals in your mouth when it mixes with the caramel and sugar of the Coke which isn't very nice, you don't see her in the film go 'ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww' like I did! Didn't make me stay up that much though.
@TangerineGroovin It was horrible! I think the taste of it rather than the effect of the caffeine would probably keep you awake. It was just vile you get these kinda coffee crystals that form in your mouth. Taste a little raw coffee then imagine a mouthful!
@thethiefking I agree, Dokken's "Into The Fire" is more fitting for this movie, but I always loved this track. I forget who does it but I'm going to look it up right now. I used to have this movie on VHS and this was the song that was on it. Believe me, after watching the film so many times on the VHS version you can imagine how shocked I was to hear "Into The Fire" during this scene when I bought the DVD a few years ago.
I'd seen the movie a lot on TV like on HBO or Cinemax but I didn't remember the song at the beginning of the movie. LOL But now I have all the movies and Freddy on my Mortal Kombat game. LOL
I remember this being the original VHS.

How was this a deleted scene? You just spliced both of the scenes from the movie together.

Up into now I used to think that, "Into the Fire" as the alternate. WOW. I've heard this one growing up thinking that it was the real song for it.

On the DVD, you can switch the audio to include this version instead of Into The Fire. There are two different audio tracks for it
