  • Good job man!

  • muito bom

  • You get a 10 in my book for drum and cymbal sound, playing style...great feel

  • Kick ass playing, and bad ass kit bro. And kudos for playing a Stryper song, keep the 80s and Hair Metal alive FOREVER!

This is how rock should be played!!!

  • @unlikeanyotherhuman its a pearl blx, which he unfortunately sold :(

  • NICE TRY KID....

    \m/

  • @ALAB69ERS LOL

  • So Awesome!

  • dude are you in a band? i need a drummer lol

  • @hollywood30 Drummer for hire here! :)

  • Man, this is awesome!

  • cara, vc eh muito bom, great job !!!!!

  • great stuff & well done.

  • yes this studio version is double bass, although i just saw a concert piece and he only used one bass drum no double pedal it didn't have that gallop so people that say its not double bass are wrong.

  • @stangfever04 Yes, but you have to be careful thesedays Robert sometimes uses a Dualist pedal and can likely play this pattern with it with one foot. Pretty cool!

  • Awesome kit.

  • Very nice man. Love this and LOVE your Dream theater covers! are you using mics?? and what camera are you using?

  • Very very nice, love stryper. U hit it kid.

  • I love this Stryper song! You did a great job! I like how tight you drum along to it!

  • Everything is great except your snare drum. Your missing the beat when you are not on the double kick. I smash my snare drum. It is the beat. Maybe that will help. Otherwise I think its great!

  • Hey How do you make a drumming video and sync it with your drums? I can make a mix with my soundboard along with the audio track but I don't know how to sync with me playing on video

  • try using windows movie maker and just put the music in the background of the video. you can adjust the volume just make the song a little bit louder than the video. you can probably do this with iMovie if you have a mac.

  • nice kit, you got more brass than an army of 5 star generals, sounds good bro

  • I just wish i could play just like you...

  • Not bad - try it without the double pedal on the bass drums though and you'll have it. Robert Sweet doesn't use double bass on the song. Neither do I

  • mmmm....yes he does, the rifff goes with double bass.....

  • I don't want to argue but the last two times I saw Stryper, they playes All For One, and Robert only played a right footed pattern and didn't play all the notes. It's his discression to play what he wants.

On the other hand, I play what I am hearing on the studio recording in a way that I like to play it.

  • i was making refrence to the studio track. i never saw them live. and i like the fact that you play it the way you like, i`m a drumer my self and i like to play things my way.

  • @gspot27 Yeah, but Robert is a talented drummer. He was given a chance to play for Ratt, and turned it down. Robert's an amazing drummer. Saw them in Orlando last year, they were amazing!

  • One of the many jewels people miss. This song is amazing live as well. They played it in Houston last week. Simply awesome! Great cover bro!

  • viendote vuelvo a inspirarme... gracias

  • you should try...

    ''rock the hell out ofyou''

  • yeeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhh!!

    should try!!!!!!!! jajajajajajaja!

  • white metal rocks!!!!

  • excellent!!! great!!! i don't know this song but i love this song thanks for this video. Salu2 de chile viva Strper!!!!

  • grande Chile!!!!!!

    viva Stryper!!!

  • One of my favorite Stryper songs - great cover, bro

  • parabens bom trabalho,

  • AWESOME GREAT JOB . YOU ROCK!

  • Well done bro, but Robert Sweet played this one with 1 foot, that's his magic. I've beed studying him for many years.

  • Yeah, I used to be able to do that and would be again if I worked on it. I have been using a double pedal so long that it's second nature.

    Robert Sweet FTW!

    Rock on!

  • but sounds awesome with double pedal, keep rocking man !!!

  • I love this video :P Beautiful playing. The only thing that is missing - is long hair!

  • Great, Very good, congratulations, I would like to see some song stryper against the law. I have all cassettes. I like stryper. Do you have website or else? I am from Venezuela. God Bless you.

Place the ARM BACK AS ROBERT SWEET good!!!!!!!!!!

  • bien!!! no tan bien ay un par de desprolijidades pero we bien igual XD.... yo soi guitarrista nada que ve ajajaja

  • caracaaaaaa!!!!

  • like mike portonoy in "while my guitar gently weeps"?

  • I do NOT wanna reclaim about your playing but can you do this also with a little set ?

  • That's like asking someone to play Steve Vai or Joe Satriani solos on a plain telecaster.

  • You are absolutely amazing. I am a huge Stryper fan and have been since the Yellow and Black Attack album. You are seriously the best I have heard cover or attempt to cover any Stryper music. I believe if Robert Sweet ever needed someone to fill in, you would be a perfect fit(minus the hair). You are a very talented individual. Keep rocking!!!

  • i like your user name and your playing is amazing

  • Great playing. I always love to see a fellow basement warrior with a big kit.

  • Still Amazing!!! Every song you've done has been spot on!

  • alright who the heck are you? I hope you are making lots and lots of money in the studio or performing live.... and if not, I have a studio, no money, but will trade you a motorcycle for studio time, look me up, I'm in Phoenix. good work, if nothing else, please just keep posting videos, very nice.

  • I am just a regular guy! Thanks for the kind words. Unforunately, I am not currently making any money off of my playing. But it would be very nice. You say you have a studio? And what kind of motorcycle are we talking about? I am all the way in Atlanta you know.

  • I was Robert's go to guy on this album, recorded @ Mad Dog studios, great fun, good times. Actually fortunate enough to be listed on the album after Mike Tramp. Rob, if you see this, Timmy says Hello.

  • Sound like an amazing experience. I would have loved to be a witness to those sessions. It would be great if there would have been more in the studio/making of video. To my knowledge, Stryper never really did that.

  • man congratulation graet cover exxellent send to stryper you recive only good news goos blees you man ..sorry for my english

  • OMG DUDE THE BASE DRUMMING YOUR DOING IS ELITE,

    Flipping awesomeee.

  • This is the only way I can ask you, since I can't find any other way of contacting you. Can you do all the rest of their stuff from the albums 'Soldiers Under Command', 'Yellow And Black Attack', 'To Hell With The Devil and, 'Against The Law'? I would really love to see it, so I can save it on YouTube. I am not snubbing Robert Sweet's drumming in anyway. I just like watching you do it. I wanted to be a drummer as a kid but, while I could handle the basic stuff, not the stuff the major stuff

  • Awesome job!!

  • god...i used to love this song back in the day!

  • Alrite ?just watching your version of "All for one " ,it sounds good, tremendous!i reckon Stryper wud b proud of it ,if they seen it,especially Rob Sweet! Awesome track!!!

Cara, muito bom... Faça outros videos, tipo 'Rock the Hell Out of You'... toca muitooo!

  • what do you think would be the best set up for a starter who has toms a crash/ride, floor tom , high hat and bass?

  • This ROCKS! How about Always There For You or Two Time Woman?

  • Great performance man.

I think you should cover Dream Theater's "Learning to Live" from Images & Words (1992)

The drum part is very interesting and challenging.

    Drum On!!!

  • or Metropolis PT.1: The Mirical and The Sleeper.

  • I've already done this one!

  • What kind of ride cymbal are you using here?

  • My trusty Paiste Dimensions 22" Medium Ride. I have actually thought of selling it for something different. Paiste just reintroduced the Power Ride into the 2002 line again.

  • Thanks brother. Have you tried other brands of cymbal? I've been experimenting with Zildjian and the odd Sabian, and they are all good cymbals, but I've never had the chance to try Paiste, as the Music Centre Canada I go to doesn't carry them.

  • I've played on pretty much everything Zildjian and Sabian have out, great cymbals, I just prefer the clear sound of Paistes. But, the 2002 line has some new models I am dying to try, Wild Rides, Wild Crush Rides and the Deep Full Rides. Have fun finding a ride you like.

  • Thanks bro!

  • This one is one of my favorites.

  • I appreciate that very much Mr. Drury.

  • Another awesome display of drumming. Excellent job.
