Your main tempo should be that of the dotted-thirty second motif. You slow down substantially here, which sounds distorted in relation to what preceeds it. I don't believe the metronome marking that is even in the Urtext. Brahms never has metronome markings in his music and I think this misleading.

The last statement of the theme is still in the Animato mode and not indicated to be Tempo primo.

Pianist:phrasing trampled right from the beginning. Also don't play French triplets in right hand.
