wow how weird I tried that exact kit and I wish I hadn't spent the money, only thing I really liked was the toner. the day moisturizer was the worst..made my skin dry and flaky

There really isn't any true, non biased proof of a bad effect on the skin of parabens and other products. Putting 100% of the substance on rats and noting that they get tumors is NOT the same as putting a product made of 3% of the substance on a 125 pound human. If you do want to do the "better safe than sorry" approach, though, I would recommend starting by finding natural body lotions. Body lotions are absorbed by the skin to a much higher extent than makeup products that sit on your face.

@ChanShelly I get what your saying -- I am moving into a more natural approach in all areas of cosmetics - from skincare to body lotions, haircare etc ... & even in my home with laundry detergents & toxic household cleaners... I'm taking a look at everything - there is an overabundance of chemicals surrounding us daily - if it was just 3% of one thing "parabens" I think it wouldn't matter... but again... it's many different chemicals -

You just got me so excited for that Boscia peel-off mask. I've used the Freeman's cucumber peel-off mask religiously for at least a decade, but don't notice anything different. And I heard a lot of their pore strips, but heard it was just like the biore so kind of put that brand in the back of my head. I hope I'll be able to find it at my Sephora!

Those chips sound good. And gluten-free, yay!

My only new favorite of the month is Tarte's Lipsurgence in Charmed. Keeps my lips so moisturized!
