I totally agree. It's like, I want to see him as inspiring, but his attitude just turns me off of seeing him that way. I bet Nintendo would have accepted him if they felt he was less liable to go off the deep end and not hold up his end of a publishing contract. He doesn't seem reliable or respectable of them, so why would they risk publishing his game?
Hehe, I love how atmospheric the music in the Starbucks makes everything. Bob starts cracking up right as the singing gets really intense as if it was some kind of soundtrack. :-P
Fascinating stuff, Bob seems intent on self sabotaging and making life difficult for himself. It's curious that he seems to have zero interests beyond writing his own game, not even other videogames. How can someone expect to make a good album when they've barely listened to any music they were kids. But I guess that's not the point.
"if there were proper video editing and a little of concern with mic issues I would actually watch this interview, however in the current form its presented it's just too irritating."
I like to imagine this being spoken in the most nerdiest, nasally voice.
Also this video is probably my favorite thing on the internet right about now.
Fact is, Bob's game demos released so far are just poor. The engine is ok, the content shown doesn't have anything special.
Anyway, if there were proper video editing and a little of concern with mic issues I would actually watch this interview, however in the current form its presented it's just too irritating.
But probably that's just part of the bizarre Pelloni's advertisement. May work with 12year olds, not with serious gamers.
hey, the "mic issues" are to recreate the intense frustration of trying to have a conversation on a convention floor or in a loud bar or at a party / etc.
He reminds me of Starkiller.

Before watching these videos, I had never heard of Bob's Game. Now I feel compelled to play it. Well played, sir.

I haven't seen such an insane devotion to video games as Bob's. It's inspiring. I should lock myself in a room for 6 years and develop a game!

And how is Bob 'funded' exactly?

Sure, go waste 40 minutes trying to understand a word and listening to silly questions.
Could be (and probably is) intentional, but still to my taste it's just awful.

Heh, I enjoyed that. 40 minutes of hardcore procrasturbation.
I look forward to seeing what actionbutton can come up with.
