the R-GT concept itself came out in 2005 ... specifications list reads that it's the 3.2 with twin turbos, but it has some crazy ugly ricer style bodykit... i like this standard one better :)

not nessecarily, the first vr6's used in the golf3 were 2.8-2.9, the r32 is 3.2 and the new one in the r36 is 3.6 put a turbo or biturbo on these things and you have a monster, i once owned a golf4 r32 bi-turbo, nearly 600hp, the acceleration was just brutal!

Technically you can... HPA Motorsports up here in Vancouver is the one who develops these bi-turbo monsters. Mind you they build limited runs each year; not to mention that they have a lot of zeroes in their price tags. Check out their website, do single turbo work too.

The RGT passat was from VW but it uses the same 3.2 Twin Turbo Set up from HPA. So yes it is a RGT.. its not the one from SEMA but its still a RGT. You can buy that body kit now from VW.. thats how many people liked it..
