Just wanted to add that the live version of Kwangmyong is brilliant! Have you drawn any inspriation from the Pet Shop Boys circa 86-87 (Please/Actually Albums)?
@EnvelopeGenerator Dude, if you don't mind me asking, how do you afford all that sweet equipment? Do you get paid (and hopefully laid) for doing your thing? Anyways, you're pretty talented and your music is awesome!
@funkathighdoses Nah, I couldn't ask for donations! Music is just something I do for fun, so I'm happy to keep uploading my stuff for free, at least until I can find some way of making a living out of it ;)
I don't mean to sound really annoying, but surely this is an LP not an EP — I thought LPs were albums like this whereas EPs were singles with all the remixes...
@bjcsupertortoise Better ask that fountain of all knowledge, Wikipedia!
"In the United Kingdom, the Official Chart Company defines a boundary between EP and album classification at 25 minutes of length or four tracks (not counting alternative versions of featured songs, if present)".
That excludes the last track (which is an alternative version of Crease), so in total that's 6 tracks at under 19 minutes, which I think qualifies it as an EP. It wouldn't even fill one side of a 12" 33rpm record!
It's great ! nicely done and .. well you know I'd like you and guys like you to become more 'mainstream' so you can take over from J.M.Jarre and Vangelis. BUT... this is good stuff, I really and honestly envy you for being able to make this kind of music.!
Don't EVER stop being creative ! ( O, and don't ever sell the C-64 ! )
@EnvelopeGenerator The great names of synth music weren't born musicians, they just had inspiration, drive a little luck and talent. You've got talent and inspiration and I think you have the drive. so you have to ask yourself one question... Do I feel lucky....
@itsciwi Oh well, close enough :P The Irish government are funding free Irish classes at universities in the UK, so I've been going to those twice a week. You'd think that would be the last thing they could afford right now!

Been anticipating this and I fucking love it. Totally inspiring. Like Scotsman707 said, I would also have gladly paid for it. Donations?

I would have been more than willing to pay for this album, but thank you anyway for making it free!

I know may not be helpful information to say I like them all, but what can I do when it's true?
I particularly like On the Fourth Floor, the new version of Crease and Kwangmyong...
...I'm straining to not simply say all the track names. I'll end the comment now before I do!

It is wonderful. Very good music, and it makes me feel good. You really know how to layer on the analog and make it sound beautiful and organic.

@boterletter2 I'm nowhere near as good as Jean Michel Jarre or Vangelis, but thanks for the compliment! Don't worry, the C64 is going nowhere ;)

@EnvelopeGenerator I've listened to it a few times over now... I'm really diggin it!
No, it would just be Cian. The h would come in on Mhurachú (my second name (Murphy)) and it only does that for guys.
The fact that you're learning at all is amazing :P Well done!
