Thank you so much for a very clear and detailed yet simple tutorial that helped me understand feedly. i think i can make better use of it now. i was ripping my hair out because all my bookmarks, tweets, links that i want to share and not want to share was all disorganized and all over the place. not only that, your soft spoken tone of voice with a very pleasant sound helped me take in all the information at a comfortable speed. thanks!
In the navigation bar you have listed all your categories like "healt", "social media" etc. how did you do that? I use the extension for Google Chrome and I can't find any options for that.
Hi and thanks - you've got a great YouTube channel!
I'm using chrome on a mac - and the way I do it is that every site I add to feedly I put into a category (either one I have created earlier or a new one). you should have the option to do that when you add sites. The other way to do that is to go into 'organise sources' and at the bottom create categories. Then drag and drop your book marks into them. The categories should appear in your navigation panel after that.
Yeah, I already categorized all my feeds (I don't have as much subscriptions as you yet :D) but that doesn't help unfortunately. The categories still don't appear in the navigation panel :-\ Could that may be bug?
hmm, I've just had another look at the chrome version of feedly. I can't think what it could be - categories may not show up if you don't have anything in them - so that might be it??
Next thing I would try is looking at it in a different browser like firefox and see if that makes a difference
the video is nice and does talk about a few of the nice things with Feedly however it is a bit chaotic. Before you make demonstration videos or tutorials ALWAYS make an outline of what you plan on doing as it seems you are just winging it and when people do that they easily get sidetracked making the video a bit chaotic.
Also the easy part of subscribing with feedly as you showed is not a feedly feature it is a Firefox feature as you simply can change the dropdown to Google Reader or others.
thanks for commenting and for visiting the blog. re subscribing - yes it's different in different browsers, what I like is that feedly makes it easy, and RSS can be a confusing concept

Nice video. :)
One question:

Thanks in advance for your answer! :)
