  • whoever you are man, i dont feel your music at all. More emphasis on the bass, and classic roots dub sound, instead of the new hip hop reggae shit these new guys are pulling in these days, corrupting the true roots.

  • this man's got serious records out there for example the peter broggs dub album jah golden throne...he's doin great tunes with big big reggae musicians, so keep yourself informed and stop talkin shit...get one of warriors albums and believe: if all of the reggae singers of the old days would have had the technical possibilities of today they would slam heavy sub basses round your ears like good ol jah warrior does...so eas up, man

  • Hey man seriously, you've got to educate yourself. Where do you hear hip hop in that track? It's uk steppers here not hip hop reggae thing. It's a kind of recreation of the old rockers style with more modern equipment, nothing else than that. And the man behind the mixing desk is Dougie Wardrop but it's not his riddim, it's from Jah Warrior who have made albums with Prince Alla, Peter Broggs, Rod Taylor, U-Brown and many other big singers.

  • For one there is not even a real drumset behind the song. Its some beat machine. Thats creative. What does he use some software and put this stuff together? Why doesnt he use a band, record the music and then dub it. Like king tubby and the rootsmen used to do? I know its easier today to use software and beats but damn cant even have a real band? That seems half ass.

  • Yeah but you've got to face reality, we will never make music like in the 70's, this era ended long time ago but most importantly we need everything to make a world, we need roots and we need digital style. The thing we don't need is closed-minded people. I love the roots myself and i build digital riddims with software sequencers. they do not sound "roots" at all but you can still make interresting things and put your fellings into them, that's the most important for me.
