  • Personaly I like to use my MXT Beetle Racing tires, its also great for catching great whites!

  • your laugh made me jump.

  • evil laugh

  • Pantat o Hito

  • @joebayron

    Stewed Catfish?

  • @naryasoul It just meant the same thing. In the philippines we call it pantat in the visayas and hito in tagalog. Nice catch anyway are you still doing it? I love to fish too. I go bass fishing every weekend..

  • @joebayron

We fish them every spring, every year.

  • I use tractor tubes to catch redclaw it might work on catfish

  • that's pretty sweet, clever idea

  • DO YOU PUT BAIT IN THE TIRES?

  • no bait, just a good dark hole for the fish to go in

  • howd u seal the tires up like that/ looks like fun ima give it a try

  • It takes 2 people. Person 1 squeezes tire together at the bead. Person 2 holds it together with a large pair of ChannelLock pliers. Drill about 4 holes through both sides of the tire right at the bead. Wire it together. Take a reciprocating saw and cut a hole about 6" in diameter in the side.

  • wow lot of catfish lucky catches huh do you get groups like that alot?

  • we fish them May and June and yes we get a load every time. Fish them about every 3-5 days

  • This is pretty clever stuff. Those catfish good eating?

  • Excellent. The larger ones have a layer of fat that I cut off other than that they are good table fair. Stew or fried.

  • That's great. I never ceases to amaze me the ingenuity of fishermen. Good stuff!

  • With all that water they are putting in the boat... I was waiting for it to Sink and them guys Losing all the Fish they just caught.... Now that would be funny :D

  • how the hell does this work

  • ahahahahahahehehehehehehehe

  • 1 day to 30 years, the cats like 'em!

  • Any person from the south not wearing fancy clothes and talks with an accent is a red neck. Well Im sorry we arent at home all day long playing video games and watching youporn all day, We're outside working or having fun. Hell "rednecks" are some of the nicest people you will meet, So sit on a stick and shove it.

  • hell yea! u got it all right

  • damn straight! have our manners say mam and sir.

  • true red necks

  • Do you have to bait the tires at all or do they just naturally go into the tire because it's cave-like?

  • they will naturally go into the tires to breed. but the catfish sometimes will not like the smell of new tires, so the longer the tires are in the water, the better.

  • noodling looks like more fun haha

  • her laugh is ignoring

  • what is the biggest fish you have caught in one of these?

  • how do you do that!?!

  • Read the comments, I explain it.

  • We call them crawdads over here but they're called crawfish among about a dozen or so other nicknames. I love catfish! I will catch, prepare and cook it seven ways to Sunday for my friends and family! Naryasoul, I had not even heard of anyone catching them in tires. That is so interesting and actually pretty creative. I loved your video!

  • Thank you, we really enjoy it, everyone from Grandaddy to grandmother to me and my kids. It's great fun and it gets all of us together.

  • we just catch catfish in australia with like 7ft bamboo pole with like 10 ft of fishing line XD biggest ive caught was like 16 inches

  • Ever go crawdadin'?

  • Not sure what you mean but no we don't go after them but we have found a few in the tires.

  • Just a quick question...how do you seal off the inside of the tire?

  • We use pliers to press the beads of the tire together, drill a hole thru both sides and use wire to hold the sides together. Then we use a sawz-all to cut a hole about 6" in diamter in the sidewall. Hard to cut through the steel under the tread.

  • red necks.

  • Thanks! But flattery will get you nowhere :)

  • thats not flattery, thats an insault, not only u a red neck u retarded as hell.

  • tsk-tsk-tsk. You did not pay much attention in english class at school. Let me correct it for you. "That's not flattery, that's an insult. Not only are you a redneck, you are retarded as well."

    You're welcome.

  • Douglar6 did his best to insult you but ended up insulting his own intelligence...you even got the apostrophe in "that's" and he didn't; your retort was, slap in the face with a pie, funny!

  • sounds like a witch in 1:30 throgh 1:45!

  • kinda takes the sport out it

  • It is not sport, it is meat fishing.

  • i cant wait till a moccasin bites you.

  • Well I hope you have to wait a very long time.

  • you needed the net for that little sumbitch?

  • Most of the time we pour them out of the tire into the net and it makes it easier to take it to the boat. That's the way we do it. I am pretty sure it's mother was another catfish.

  • ok fair enough.. thats understandable its just not what im used to i dont use tires i usually just get them out from under rocks or logs... but i mean however you do it is fine keep it up and good luck.

  • that was soo cool

  • how do you close up the inside of the tire?

  • It takes 2 people. Person 1 squeezes tire together at the bead. Person 2 holds it together with a large pair of ChannelLock pliers. Drill about 4 holes through both sides of the tire right at the bead. Wire it together. Take a reciprocating saw and cut a hole about 6" in diameter in the side.

  • awesome!

  • Lol, pretty cool. :)

  • the snails in the lake are horrible, i wish they would get ridda them

  • Very cool idea with the tires guys! I may have to try that in my pond just to see whats in there.

  • actually i woudnt recommend that cuz u DON know wats in there!

  • That's part of the fun! Actually all we find is catfish and snails.
