Capoeira requires amazing skill and athleticism. But as a means of a practial martial art, its a load a crap!

Every movement they make puts themselves in a vulnerable knock out position.

Basically, it should be used as a choreographed dance segment on "so you think you can dance" or some other gay show like that.

Sorry, but the title did not ment, that is a Capoeira FIght. The 4 in the End of the title shows that it is the 4 event of Fight Night from the Kenpokan-Studio in Hanover. If you had read the Information from this video, of course in german, but you had to noticed, that its "just" a show act. Greetings.

capoeira can be (in my own opinion(asd)be separated to 3 styles

fighting:beating other up

show:keeping 10meters distance whit the other player and just jumping around

ritual:slow where no harm is meaned to other player but there seems to be some kicks to stomach and take downs....i cant remember to comment on this video???

Hey nensah, maybe you should search Capoeira in google and read about it, it is a highly complex form of art/dance and it takes just as much skill avoiding the kicks as it does throwing them. I know from personal experience that it does really hurt.
