What if your implantation bleeding is heavy like a period & comes a WEEK b4 your usual periods due date? When would you take a pregnancy test then? I've came on a week early, usually my cycle is every 28days. My fiance & i (ttc) had sex 14days after the 1st day of my last period (26/2/12), now i'm bleeding a week later (4/3/12) my usual period date is due 11/3/12! I'm confused b'coz i never come on early - EVER! Will I come on again if i'm not pregnant, or is this it? What to think, what to do?

About a week after fertilization the newly fertilized egg implants into the lining of your womb and this can cause bleeding some more than others. From the details that you have given me it sounds as though you may be pregnant and a home pregnancy test kit can turn positive 6 to 12 days after fertilization. I would try now with an early morning concentrated urine sample. If it is negative and your period doesn't come as scheduled I would test again in one weeks time.

Excellent video. Question, my body has been acting really strange lately, I know I ovulated on the 17th of Feb because I checked and the day before I was cramping slightly on and off. Lately I've been eating like crazy. For instance today I made a sandwich and an hr later I'm hungry again. Monday I was extremely bloated n gassy and my husband says my moods have changed. I'm always going to the bathroom especially at night without drinking anything before I go to sleep. Sorry I haven't gotten to

If you ovulated around Feb. 17th and fertilization was successful then you would be approximately 3 weeks pregnant. I would wait another week and take a pregnancy test to see if it is positive. From what you describe to me it does sound as though you have symptoms of pregnancy.

i also ask my partner and i had sex 8 days ago we took a clearblue ovulation test and it came back a smiley face,now(8 days since we had sex and iv been feeling well at the moment i feel bloated,iv had cramps like my periods about to begin not painfull but slight cramps and then they go but they come in waves.iv felt nausiated during the day an today i lost like a finger nail of fluid during the day but there was no sign of implantation bleeding.iv felt tired but that can be the late nights also

By what you describe to me it sounds as though you can very well be pregnant. It can take about a week for the newly fertilized egg to reach the endometrium and it is at this time trophoblastic tissue forms and there is an increase in hCG. It is this hormone that causes the positive results. From what you describe intercourse took place just after mid cycle and with that timing pregnancy is likely to be successful. Not everyone experiences implantation bleeding.

iv been still having period like cramps but loosing fluid...i havent lost inplantation bleeding..and today iv felt a tinny little bit qeezy(sick)..

I really hope its not wishful thinking!

I cant work out what day i had my last perod as a week prior to ovulation i was looking black stuff for 4 days with abit of blood?im unsure when my next period is due?i felt tired this morning so i had a sleep but woke more so tired!

Hello,

If you are unsure about the date of your last period wait until two weeks after you have had intercourse to try the pregnancy test. Not all women experience implantation bleeding as it is only one symptom of pregnancy.

Fatigue has many causes pregnancy being only one of them.

its now almos 11 days pass possible contraception and today i slept but woke more so tired,iv been loosing fluid that smells sweet sorry tmi! and iv felt a tad nausiated today over a meal but still ate it..and i STILL HAVENT had implantation bleeding...!is it to late to test?atm im feeling a tad bloated?What would ALL this be?i have had a few slight period cramps but not as extream and not as many as i had at 6 days past contracpetion..and 7.

I would wait until you have missed your period to try your first pregnancy test. These symptoms that you describe might also be due to an impending period.

Wait until the first day of your missed period on a 28 day cycle to try your test and if you are indeed pregnant the pregnancy test should be positive.

Thanks for writing! Fertilization takes place within about 24 hours after ovulation on or around day 14 of a 28 days cycle. It takes this newly fertilized egg about 5 days to reach the womb where it implants into the lining and it is usually not until this time that symptoms would appear. It may be if you are having symptoms of early pregnancy that you ovulated early and are in fact a few days ahead. The precise time of fertilization is not always known.

Hello, my wife has missed her cycles and according to your early symptoms she does experience the tenderness and soreness in breast, fatigue and tiredness,missed her cycle, nauseous feeling. She did the pregnancy test on the strips but the test is showing that she is not pregnant and she did this test on the second day of her last monthly cycle date.My question is does home test of strip is the 100 % test or still there are chances that she might be pregnant and visit the doctor?
