i think the part where you messed up was the shading...it looks like he's psrtly sunburnt or something. I liked you other Ichimaru though!

haha tbh i think this may be one of ur worst ones, and ichimaru is fairly easier to draw than the others :P ur grimmjow looked great and it is by far harder to draw

Him being easier to draw then the others is completely your opinion :/. He's easily one of the hardest people for me to draw, along with Renji.

I made a much better Ichimaru then this though, in case you haven't seen it ^_^.

how do you shade? could you please tell me? do i use certain colours, or just a pencil? ive never shaded before

u can use different types of pencils, but if u dont have them all u have to do is add more or less pressure to make an area darker.

Hmmm, I may end up drawing a pic like that at one point ^_^ It would be a nice challenge :D. I'd just have to figure out how to shade a ball of light lol. It would require me to use a blending stump.

Lol, a blending stump is something you use to shade the seperate shade tones together, to make the picture look more

3Dish. You could use something like a Q-tip instead of a blending stump though.

It just helps blend the shades ^_^.

It's like if you tried to draw a sphere. Normal shading would make it look 2D... So blending it helps it look like more realistic shading. Bah, i'm rambling now >_>..

Yeah I know >_> I think it's a collection of really small mistakes that just gathered and made the whole picture look off lol. It was a bad picture to draw, but there wasn't too much to choose from lol. ^_^.
