Thomas "Tom" Paine (February 9, 1737 [O.S. January 29, 1736[1]] -- June 8, 1809) was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He became notorious because of The Age of Reason (1793--94), his book that advocates deism, promotes reason and freethinking, argues against institutionalized religion and Christian doctrines.

@cobalt100 Since we haven't really been on the gold standard for quite some time now, the only place we can put our trust is in God.
