  • i have a problem. i just bought a philips 42pfl4506 but its says "no signal" when i plug anything in it like my PC, DVD etc. Please help :/

  • @Hummeren2000 This is not a product support thread... Please contact Philips support or ask for help in a dedicated user forum. Thanks

  • @fredfbe Ok. Thank you

  • when it comes to LCD screens Philips is #1 (Philips India,Middle East and Asia is different ) compared to other European , American or Japanese brands. Outstanding picture quality, Owners pride of course

  • I LOVE my Phillips Cinema.. Its awsome and with bluray movies it rocks.. Buy one of those.

  • I just bought one, nice.I would have bought a Sony RGB Led but wtf?How come white led is 500 euro and RGB led is 2500?Sony must be out of their fuckin minds.

  • I have a 32-inch Philips 1080p 3000 series is very good ... I recommend everyone Phillips ... IS THE BEST....and PS3 graphics are well plotted on a Philips, he show every detail..

  • ive the first lcd tv with ambilight and i will never miss it awesome

  • very underrated company for televisions...ive had 3 philips tvs and they've all been great, picture is comparable to some $2000 tvs out there and i only paid $700 for mine...philips led is awesome!

  • Amazing!!

  • beautiful colors

  • i have to say philips does have the best when it comes to flat screen

  • i want the cinema!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Panasonic, Samsung and PHILIPS are the best of best :)

  • @Nemiades11 u forgot LG

  • @mitsuevo8mr No, LG's aren't good for me, but i forgotted Sharp :)

  • Nice sony vegas work..lol , (not)

  • It would be a great benefit when after filming old steam & diesel locos I could simply watch my clips in playback on what would be a simply brilliant Philips LCD TV

    TSX

  • Our tv!!! 2:21

  • I lov it

  • PhilipsPLEASE bring AMBILIGHT & AUREA (Back) to the United states. I LOVE my 42" 42PF9631D/37 Ambilight Plasma --> but it's a power hog. I'd love to replace it with a 42 - 47" LED Ambilight or Aurea~!~

So So many people said (it's a gimmick) only to now see MOMOlighting and passive x-mas tree or LED light strings strewn behind many many TV's.

It makes me smile every time I turn it on, and my version is AL 2 it's improved so much since then.

    PHILIPS PRETTY PLEASE (Funali??)

  • Amazing

  • Holy Shit, Philips Cinema 21:9 = AMAZING !!!

  • Philips always manages to come with real innovations like Ambilight, Cinema 21:9 and nice aluminium finishings for their TVs. Koreans like Samsung and LG only come with boring mass market black boxes!

    Got a 42pfl9803 and it's brill!

  • HOLLAND

  • tv lcd philips is very bad quality ! i buy a 42 inch lcd philips ! just use 7000 hours ! show problem about tv ! only audio and no image of video ! i take tv to philips agent to fix it ! they say need change panel lcd ! and cost more expensive to buy a new one!

i call philips consumer center to negociation is possible fix it or change it ! they always want me wait ! until now pass 40 days ! nothing ! same as usuall want me wait until i die ! so i suggest all consumer don`t buy philips lcd tv

  • 21:9 !!! O_O

  • sony are awful and can't justify there prices but philips on the other hand, worth every single damn penny :D only philips bring television to life

  • panasonic and pionner are the two best brands

    look for panasonic plasma tv

  • Many people dont get that the only difference between "normal LCD" and so called "LED" TVs is the backlight. The "non LED" LCDs just gave CFL backlight behind the LCD panel, While the new "LED" TVs have LED backlight behind the same LCD panel. The difference is only in the bulbs that emit white light behind the LCD panel. Calling these LED TVs is a cheap marketing trick, using the buzzword "LED"

The real 100% LED TVs are called OLED TVs.

  • @RoLeRzzz lol'd

  • I in palakkad kerala, there is no dealer have stock of philips LCD tv. I waited so long then bought a sony 40". I would say dont go for sony, it is not at all user friendly.

But the philips so far i Had are great in quality and innovation. I thing they only make any electronics with total functiality. Kudos PHILIPS.

  • have any of you used the PHILIPS 32PFL7404 for gaming should bew getting it on thusday

  • I just got the Philips Cinema 21:9 on Monday. its Awesome :-O I really love this TV. Before I had the cinema 21:9 I had a Samsung 42" 16:9 HD REady wich was really nice BUT the Philips Wow :-O Looking 1080p is such a great feeling together with my Logitech Z5500 :)

  • I'm gonna get a 5000-tv.

  • 1:03 - 1:18 motion blurr!

  • I'm thinking of getting the 52" Philips from SamsClub for $998. I'm not sure what series it is but it's a great looking tv. I've shopped around almost everywhere and no deal is this good for a 52". 1080p, 120hz, 33000:1 contrast ratio, 4 hdmi inputs. Sounds good to me!!

  • korean brand came up and became popular. samsung, now LG but greek and japanese brand is better..... sony and phillips. phillips is one of the top notch, not phillips magnavox but phillips.

phillips magnavox is cheaper quality line.

  • @UpskirtPower

    oh and toshiba is good.

phillips, sony, and toshiba top quality.

  • i bought the 10.000 yesterday

  • i have all philips products tv dvd audio etc.

its good quality philips is innovative company ,but it has no more products range like samsung lg sony and why it has no

market ad. compaign like other companies ? , in india it has no dealer network it is difficult for coustmer to find

    products

  • Picked up the 32 inch 9000 series yesterday and - WOW - worth every penny! Even in SD it far outshines my Bravia and Samsung.

  • Got a Philips 5000-series 32" i have to say, it beat Samsungs TV's down the shitter!! In Europe Philips is known to be making GREAT products. But i think Sharp makes good TV's too have too see the new ones that are comming

  • I

    buyed the 7000 yesterday!

  • you better go back to school dude. lol

  • @hellboyXsas

    HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

    BUYED??????? HAHAHAHA LOL BOUGHT

  • does anyone know how to get a philips tv shipped to the US? all we have here is the Philips made by Funai, with no ambilight. Please someone tell me how to get one shipped to the US. I only want to use this with an HDMI bluray, so im not worried about the format difference.

  • ambilight isnt important.... What important is..is the new chip they inserted int the new tv's... which makes 200hz..and motion flow possible...with correct shape and correct color enhancements... 1080p or 1200P.... those philips tv's are a lot better than the samsung led tv's..only disadvantage is the price :(.

The new series will be availabe next shipping month in US. West-Coast..

  • Buy one from the ebay uk site they dont always have many on but I have seen some that will post worldwide at a cost.

  • 21:9. what about games? if those 21:9 tvs r gonna be used by many, will game company's change the resolutions of their games?

  • scaling is automatically adapted by most new gen games...so what ur gaming on? console or pc? cause with pc..u dont have 2 worry... console will stretch the 16:9 a little..but the tv itself will adapt too that... so..

  • philips tv are the best

  • philips have the best tvs aut there, in all around europe they have the best products

  • Nice television,

LED is Now UPCOMING in the tv Branche,

Plasma goes down and LCD over about 5 years,

  • Dutch pride :)

  • Unlucky to be in Australia where Philips stopped AV business. But I would import one :)

  • lol, i didnt knwo that, Why?

  • Aussie market is most welcoming Korean and Japanese products, perhaps that could be the reason.

  • ONLY philips are the best...ill never buy a sony again..

  • except that they are not the same thing

    except sony sucks

  • @mugenhonda13 totally agree!

  • @mugenhonda13 nah get Samsung;)

  • @mugenhonda13 sony sucks!!!!m brother got a bravia and i got a philps lcd ...mine is an 2006 model while my brother's is a 2009 model.....MAN MY TV HAS A BETTER PICTURE QUALITY despite it's age....

  • awesome video!

  • that,s just incredible,cuzz this lcd tv has a response time of 1 ms,with advanced 200hz technology,and it,s 142 cm big. woooaaah!!!!!!!!!!

  • if u cant decide what chose betwen samsung and philiphs, chose phlips, they make the best lcds on the market, i just bought a Philips TV LCD 32PFL8404H (its 32" serie 8000)... 600euro.. the quality is undescribable!! ;)

  • send me the link please

would like to have one also but with like 100 hz, ambilight and full hd

  • i didnt buy it online, but here in Milan

  • oh :] amazon doesn't find it. is ambilight really that good?

  • it is pretty cool and i saw the cinema 21:9 yesterday and i was blown away with the image, and i already saw movies in led tvs but that was just f... amazing , with 2250 trillions coulors what would you expect?:P

  • i know of no technology that can display 2250 trillion colours. Perhaps you meant 2.25 trillion colours (64 bit), but even that is unlikely. And it would be overkill when your 21:9 display only has 2.7 million pixels and the human eye can only perceive 16.7 million colour variations. Sounds like more marketing hype than actual fact. If you could change the colour of all 2.7 megapixels every 1 ms, it would still take 83 seconds to display 2.25 trillion colours. What's the point of that?

  • what's the difference between the 3000 and the 9000 series? it's a technological difference ou just a question of taste?

  • im getting 42 inch 5000 series

  • i will buy the Philips 42PFL8404H , its around 1100 EUR, the price is ok! I would only buy a philips or samsung lcd, they make the best lcds and have fair prices.

  • sharp also make good tvs i have a 46 inch and its amazing but this ambilight looks cool!

  • what a stunning video i always said philips where the best for tv's i have the 7603 mode stunning tv REALLY WANT THE AUREA NOW

  • Well, I allready saw it on Media Markt last week in Brussels and I can tell you that: Astonishing! I'm allready a big Philips fan and my first 2 choises were: 29PT9521/12 (29" CRT 100Hz Cineos), 37PFL5603D/10 (37" Full HD LCD) and for home cinema: HTS3115/12. So the next logical step is this one. I can't wait having it... PHILIPS rulez as always!

  • Okay....I WANT THE 21:) TV !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really want the cinema 21:9 TV! SO COOL!

  • 2nd to last is best.

  • yeah i seriously have to change to led tv soon
