@deshan9999 This song was from the tamil movie "Thavamai Thavamirundhu". We did this as the opening song - kinda wanted to be a grand gala opening of sorts - especially that being the 10th anniversary of our music group, we wanted everyone to participate (all the instrumentalists and singers)
Wondering if minus one or a karaoke track used here at times? I see some artists skid way off-road while singing.
The person performing the Swaras well in the midst, all of a sudden singing weird deviating from the mere basics.
Madhu Balakrishinans alaps mimicked here were too hasty and the high note alaps present in the supposed to be original is still missing, with some modifications to your own convenience!
You people are still doing great. Just my comments.
To answer your 1st question, no minus one track was used - PALLAVI is one of the groups where we believe in 100% LIVE playing. That comment coming from you is actually a compliment to our excellent performers.
And your observation about deviations from singers perspective, yes, that is quite possible - this is a tough and challenging song to pull off on stage - lots of intricate sangathis, high notes in that raga - our singers did some level of extempore singing - that could be the reason. Also, we wanted to make all our singers sing this song because this was a special show for PALLAVI - our 10th ANNIVERSARY show and we started off with this song to give all singers some pieces to sing.
Appreciate your polite, candid and honest answer, best to your knowledge. Do not want to dig more, make an alphabetic soup or a medley of words to further this.
Crossing ten years of musical milestone, you painted a vision of what you most likely desired in the past, stretching your real creativity even today diligently, getting closer to the real world of success.
Magical ... absolutely love the vocals and the choice of musical instruments is very good ... these people are SO talented, especially the lead singers! ... not a single note was off through out the entire song ... amazing ... the whole thing is so uplifting, powerful and transcendental ... can you please post the detailed lyrics or point me to a location where I can get the lyrics?
Can some one plssz tell me what is this song, It's album? whaere can I get this?
