I do realize not ALL muslims are bad. It would be ignorant to think that about any group of people in general - The innocent peole in iraq (children, women and men) that are abused and controlled by the Suni's and government, etc. are caught between a rock and a hard place. I don't know what the ratio is but it is frustrating when the Americans went there to truly help change the corrupt government and help the "good" people to have a decent, safe life.

The government/religion does not allow for the women to go to school! You know this! Do not blame it on the war - this is why they have them wear burkas and do stupid things like whip them if their hands or hair accidentally shows. They say it tempts the men - really?? The men have so little control over themselves? No, they do not want to educate the women because the men over there are small, little bullies and can't bear to allow equality. That is the problem over there!

Islam promotes education for both men and women... if u look at other countries that are not extreme such as tunisia, syria, jordan, egypt, morocco and algeria... all their wives and daughters can go to school ... they have many educated people .. both men and women.. and by the way not all americans are educated so maybe thats why u think all muslims are alike!!
