The player probably just turned the BGM off in the options so you could hear the sound effects and voice in the video clearer.

yeah, well, when you CAN use a Blast Caliber you should use it since as soon as the battle ends and you don't use it, your little drive bar gets to half and it's sort of like, 'noooo, i should've used it T.T'

The two moves are named slightly different though, even Though the pronouciation is the same , the first kanji used in the two names are different. one means " real " the other means " demons" it just happens that they are both pronouced "Ma" in Japanese.

I more meant that he always uses 'kiero' and 'mezawari'. Yeah, I know about the Majinrengokusatsu thing. I wonder why they didn't keep the same kanji for ma? Ah, well. Namco ran out of ideas for names or something X.X

The reasoning between the different kanji is probably to show the change in Leon/Judas' character between the two games. Of course, I haven't played ToDII, so I wouldn't know, I'm just guessing.

Very true. But wasn't the original Majin Rengoku Satsu just a slash and a thrust? I'm pretty sure it was because I think I remember that the Hi-Ougi (where he says "Gishou Ken") was something else...

uh...yeah. It was sort of lame and he talked a lot. It was sort of like, 'Judas! Concentrate on the fight!' and then if you beat the game...three times I think, you can have him use Gishouken and have his mask break off.
