Sadly, according to the writers of Lost, Mr. Eko had to leave the show because the actor left. He was supposed to go the whole time. Similarly, Michael Emerson was only supposed to play Ben Linus for a little while. He stayed the whole time.

almost a year ago, i was having all sorts of health problems...sitting in the car on the way to the hospital i would play this song, and look out the window....it helped me get through the tough times, it made me feel like everything is going to be alright...whenever i am down now, i always come back to this song. this is my proof that music is healing. and oh yeah...i miss lost.

@TheJamiam Hmm... maybe. But Jack's relationship with his father was an ongoing struggle for him throughout the series, from the first episode with the white shoe to the last episode where it appeared again. Maybe he needed to truely come to terms with Christian before moving on?

@TheJamiam what everyone else said, but also Adwale something something something (i don't know his last name, it's complicated.) wanted heaps of cash to appear in the final ep. he was supposed to be in there as a priest with Yemi and Yemi was supposed to be there cos Eko was the most important thing to him. but Adwale got greedy and that was cut so no Eko and no Yemi. but Christian was always going to be the one that moves them on.

Well rose was in the church and the reason she never appeared in the sideways reality is because ( and I am surmising here) her and bernard reamined on the island with Hugo and Ben. and they all died there and Dude michael was stuck on the island it is in the3rd or 4th last episode I think. As for walt i don't want to say and spoil it for you

Excellent work on this and your other compilations.. I was just watching the beginning of season 3 and heard eko's theme, and I figured coming here to find it...

I'm waiting for all of the season's OST to come out to purchase them as a collection... Your compilation should be a part of that. A sort of thematic compilation as opposed to chronological.

Man I miss Eko.. he's been to hell and back and became the Island's moral compass in many ways....
