does Monty have a five speed box or just a very long first? Love watching these vids noticed your tach reading nearly 9000rpm have you got a steel crank and 4 bolt center main? would love to know your engine spec. cheers

@666gravedigger 9k us about readline. It's a +.040 motor, 4 bold steel main cap, en40b crank. It's a 4-speed straight cut box, yes 1st gear is very tall, use it all the time. We have rolling starts in the US, so I can get away with a really tall first.

I don't remember ever seeing a classic mini with a ridge in the middle of the hood/bonnet. My '62 sure doesn't. What gives? :-)
