  • BEST SCIENCE PROJECT EVAR

  • Very nice engine. I have got the same one, but mine is a little bit younger.

  • Looks like a household power plant!

  • thats look cool too (^_^)

  • Its not running really all that fast... sometime I should get up the video of my Jensen #70 running at top rpms (about double of this) The only way to control the steam production of an electically heated boiler is make up the simple dimmer comtraption that limits the amount of heat the heater puts out. So this guys choice was either run it at this normal speed or have the safety valve constantly popping.

    Happy steaming!

  • yeah but isint the jensen #70 a steam turbine?? they cool but not nearly as cool as a proper steam engine pumping away!

  • Nope, the #70 is the modern version of the #5.

The #95G is the current Jensen Turbine.

  • kewl! i must go look it up :)

  • Quite impressive video!

  • good grief, you are running the snot out of that thing aren't you?

  • ...it's running like this for more then 50 years...and I'm not shure if it's the right way to oparate the engine...that's the reson why I placed it on youtube..

  • No It aint, although im sure you won't do any damage, the engine will look a lot more authentic if you ran it very slowly.
