To be the President of the USA, the Constitution of the USA indicates that he must be "a natural born citizen". To be a natural born citizen, he MUST meet 2 conditions:

His father was a British citizen. Persons holding dual citizenship are NOT considered "natural born citizens" because more than one nation can claim jurisdiction over them. His mothers age would have nothing to do with it. The problem is not the document. It is a well known fact that his father was not a US citizen. The mass majority of Americans, don't know what it means to be a "natural born citizen". That is a Certification of Live Birth-NOT a birth Certificate. Hawaii Statute 338, allows the registration of a birth in Hawaii for a child that was born OUTSIDE of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the childs birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence. The only way to know where Obama was actually born, is to view his original birth certificate, and Obama refuses access to it.

Hawaii officals have stated that his original birth certificate is on file there, but they never stated where he was born. Now here is a thought, correct me if I may be wrong, but if they later found that Obama's citizenship disqualified him from becoming president, or gave it a drawn out investigation, then wouldn't this keep Bush in office longer? A President can only serve 2 terms. I guess Cheney, could assume the office until it was all worked out. There are many possible roads, but it all depends when and if the SCOTUS or Congress acts on this. To be the President of the USA, the Constitution of the USA indicates that he must be "a natural born citizen". To be a natural born citizen, he MUST meet 2 conditions:
1) he must be born in the USA.
2) he must be born of two American parents.
BOTH conditions are required!
1) is NOT met, as Obama never showed a LONG FORM birth certificate!
2) is IMPOSSIBLE TO MEET, as Obama's father was NEVER an American!
Hence, Obama is NOT a natural born citizen and is NOT eligible to be President of the USA!

I was born in the US and at the same time am a Spanish citizen because my parents are from Spain.Therefore both the US and Spain could technically claim jurisdiction over me. His father was a British citizen. Persons holding dual citizenship are NOT considered "natural born citizens" because more than one nation can claim jurisdiction over them. Dual citizens, or foreigners are NOT eligible to be President. Regardless of where Obama was born, he became a British citizen the moment he was born.

His mothers age would have nothing to do with it. If that where the case, what citizenship whould one have if you where born in a country that does not give citizenship to an individual simply by natural birth if the mother where a minor? In response to Jerome Corsi's FOIA request, the State Dept. recently revealed that Obama's mom's passport records from before 1965 were destroyed even though the SD website says records are kept from 1920 on. It comes down to, just what did the founding father intend. I believe their intent was to reserve the office of president, to persons that have no "fall back" position, with respect to citizenship. Obama is a citizen of Kenya, by Kenyan law. No mater where he was born! He therefore has secondary citizenship and allegiance to a foreign power. I don't think this is what the founding fathers, had in mind.

It doesn't matter if Obama was born in Hawaii or not. His father was a foreigner. Children, at the time of Obama's birth who had a foreign parent had DUAL CITIZENSHIP. You can become a full-fledged NATURALIZED CITIZEN, but naturalized citizens CAN NOT BECOME PRESIDENT, only NATURAL BORN with two American parents. You could have cameras in Hawaii while little Barry Soetoro was being born with proof beyond belief he was born in Hawaii, and that still wouldn't make him eligible to be pres.

The problem is not the document. It is a well known fact that his father was not a US citizen. The mass majority of Americans, don't know what it means to be a "natural born citizen". This is a legal term, and most simply refuse to accept the definition of the term, even though it has been stated in decisions handed down by the Supreme Court.

The Courts are hiding behind a barrier that they themselves created, known as "standing". What they are saying is that until you can prove that you are personally harmed, you can't complain about the law being broken. Its like saying we know that your neighbor is a murderer, but until he kills you, you have no right to complain.

Obama's mother was only 18 at the time of his birth. This law would only apply if he was born outside of the US. In addition to this is the fact that his father was not a US citizen. Natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject, so his son's citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948.

The Constitution states that the Vice President would become President if the President dies in office, but that he only acts as President until a new President is selected if the President is found ineligibile for office. Remember Biden was selected by Obama, and elected as part of an illegal ticket. The entire election was a fraud and neither of the major candidates, McCain or Obama, were eligibile for office.

Oddly, the Senate itself apporoved McCain's citizenship status several years ago - which is allowed when Constitutional questions arise regarding eligibility for persons. That said - McCain was born to two US Citizens - on a US Army Base.
As Barry is not a US CItizen, the Senate could award him Eligibility for POTUS even after the election.

Yes, what you refer to was S. Res 511, in which all 100 Senators-including Obama, agreed that John McCain was a natural born citizen because both of his parents were US citizens. The resolution, can only be regarded as an opinion, and it is not legally binding. No one in authority ever questioned Obama's citizenship, and he has legally blocked all efforts to see his original birth, school and medical records. No, by the immigration laws in effect at the time of his birth, Obama's mother was too young to pass US citizenship on to him. Certainly, IF Obama was born in Hawaii, he would be a US citizen, but, the Constitution requires the President to be a "natural born citizen", meaning one subject only to the jurisdiction of the United States, and no other nation. That is a Certification of Live Birth-NOT a birth Certificate. Hawaii Statute 338, allows the registration of a birth in Hawaii for a child that was born OUTSIDE of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the childs birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence. The only way to know where Obama was actually born, is to view his original birth certificate, and Obama refuses access to it.

The 14th amendment does not address itself to article 2 therefore in can have NO EFFECT on the requirement that the president be a "natural born citizen" - that is, "Born in the USA." The only exception to the rule applied to those who were born before the ratification of the constitution. So, unless B.H.O was born before 1789, he has to produce proof that he was born in the US and has not since denounced his citizenship - something he would have had to do to attend Madrassa in Indonesia.

(1.) you must be born or apply for citizenship in the United States, AND (2.) you must be subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. Actually, McCain was born in the Canal Zone of Panama at a time when it was an American territory. Everybody born there after US control was established and prior to the canal reverting to Panamanian control were born US citizens, much like the inhabitants of Peurto Rico, American Samoa, and the US Virgin Islands.

In 1937 Congress passed a statute, the Act of Aug. 4, 1937(now codified at 8 U.S.C. § 1403(a)) granting citizenship to any person born in the Canal Zone on or after February 26, 1904 who had at least one U.S. citizen parent. This Act made John McCain a U.S. citizen when he was 11 months old. McCain is not a natural born citizen.
You cannot aquire natural born status, 11 months after you are born. If you are not a natural born citizen, at the moment of your birth, you can never become one.

You do not become a citizen of the United States, by living in the country for a certain length of time. To be a natural born citizen, you have to be born on US soil to 2 US citizen parents. You can not become a natural born citizen. You are either one at birth or you are not.

Now here is a thought, correct me if I may be wrong, but if they later found that Obama's citizenship disqualified him from becoming president, or gave it a drawn out investigation, then wouldn't this keep Bush in office longer? If this happens, then perhaps this was all an elaborate plan, but I guess we'll see what happens. This could give Bush a chance to pass the NSPD 51 he signed earlier in 2007.

A President can only serve 2 terms. I guess Cheney, could assume the office until it was all worked out. There are many possible roads, but it all depends when and if the SCOTUS or Congress acts on this. According to the 14th Amendment, Obama is not even a citizen, because it requires a citizen to be under the Jurisdiction of the United States, and when Obama was born, he was under the Jurisdiction of the United Kingdom. Remember Elian Gonzales was returned to Cuba for this very same reason.

I have my money on Canada. It's just a theory, but Ann Dunham showed up in Seattle, Washinton to visit her best friend from HS, in August of 1961. Her friend claims that the baby was 3 weeks old, and that she had to show Ann how to change his diapers. What mother does not know how to do this after 3 weeks? So I figure that she was coming back from Canada, and that Barry was only 3 days old. She stopped in to see her friend, and then flew to Hawaii.

Yes, the NJ cased was denied a hearing. No news on Keyes or the other 2 CA cases. There is a case in Washington which should not have a "standing" issue. There is a state law that any voter can challenge candidates and the Secretary of State has already admitted not checking Obama's citizenship(Broe Vs Reed). Also the CT case is now on the SCOTUS docket for Dec 12. We are not just going to go away.

Here's something to think about. If it took until now to bring up this issue, then it is not needed as a prerequisite when there are so many other important qualifications.
Let's stick to what is important instead of handing another group of morons control of the country again because they were born in Texas.

It did not take all this time for it to become an issue. The Natural born citizen prerequisite has always been followed. It has only been in recent years, that so mant Americans have fallen asleep at the wheel. Bush was born in Connecticut.

Some want to argue that one only has to be BORN in the US to be a natural born citizen.
Well, if that were the case, according to the 14th Amendment, they would be the SAME type of citizen as Arnold and Arnold can't run for President because he is only a citizen of the United States.
Citizenship of the United States is achieved by any of the following:
1. Naturalization
2. Born on US soil to one US citizen and one non US citizen
3. Born on US soil to two non US citizens

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President" For an Citizen to be qualified, that is not a natural born Citizen, he would have to be at least 221 years old.

Obama is a 'citizen of the United States' under the 14th Amendment. So is Arnold Schwarzenegger. Neither can be President.
According to the 14th Amendment: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.
This grants the same type of citizenship to those who are either BORN in the United States or NATURALIZED in the United States.

What can we do Bigone. He has been elected. We cry out to our Senators but it gets us nothing. I agree with everything you have said, but like so many others I am frustrated and I dont know what we can do to "Change" it.

You can write letters to the Electors, you can file a law suit against the Secretary of State, in your state, for allowing Obama and McCain on the ballot without getting proof he was qualified. We can all watch each case, and learn from them, and if in the future, an attempt is made to amend the Constitution, we can vote against it. We can question every, law act and order given by Obama, his entire term, and argue that he did not have the authority to sign them. We are only doomed, if we quit.

One American parent means that the child is a U.S. citizen. 2 are not necessary for a U.S. citizen.

That is not correct. A child born on US soil to 2 alien parents is a citizen. However, 2 US citizen parents and birth on US soil, are required for a Natural Born Citizen. You are comparing apples to pears. The Constitution requires the President to be a natural born citizen. It does NOT say any citizen can be Presiden
