Im british and i have many friends who have served alongside the americans, and the majority of them are fantastic, one of my friends served his entire tour in afghanistan with an outfit of U.S marines and although one or two were wankers they were a very good bunch of lads, some guys get a little over dramatic but its a theatre of war, who doesnt?

No, thank you. Im a former US Marine (90-95). I served during the 1st Gulf War and Somalia. I had the chance to train with a few Brits. The camaraderie we had for each other was amazing. You guys truly are professional soldiers, and we loved the competion we had with each other during training. The world is a screwed up place. SA-80 A2 isnt all that bad mate. Had loads of problems with the M-4 jamming up to fuck though. Much preferred when we got the opportunity to get the H&K G-36..best assault rifle out there bar none.

Those are regular British Army Royal Artillery troops, the 7th Para Royal Artillery battallion though. Looks like enemy may have been killed. Saw a Minimi and LSW blasting away aswell as SA80A2 rifles. Quality.

It's Regiment not battalion. Enemy were killed during that contact although the ordnance dropped from an A10 may have helped somewhat!!!

sorry Regiment, easy mistake I know there's a size difference I got confused because 1 Para, 2 Para, and 3 Para are three battalions within the Parachute regiment.

7th Para are not part of the Parachute regiment but the Royal Artillery regiment then ?
