@DarkForestStables I'm wishing your Mum all the best for her surgery. Will be a trying time for you all, am sure. If you think it may help you, I have a post surgery diary I can email you. It has lots of information on what to generally expect (if she is having the same surgery as I did). Private message me your email address if you would like me to send you it. Best wiishes.
Hello dear, my mother a year and a half ago went through the exact same thing (hers was 10 hour surgery!) and she was left with the side of her mouth really crooked and it never went down. This morning she was in a 4 hour surgery to take her mouth back down she will need 2 more surgeries for that though. It's such a long process... And her eye will always be different as well. she has a weight in her upper eyelid so she can close it.
@LilasRose1973 Hi there. I hope your mother's operation was a success and that it will help lessen the crookedness. Is a long process and I hope with all my heart that this and her future operations will help. Please keep in touch and let me know how your mother gets on. Best wishes. x

Thanks,Mo.
Am having surgery in April - just watched your video. Found it really useful, far more than any book you can read.
Best wishes for the future.
