As a 21 year old african american from relatively poor background and yet I agree with you, alot of the problem in our communtity comes from us and it is time for the younger generation to correct it.
Thats if they can get pass the falsely glorified traits of the black man. (thinking its cool to be ghetto and accepting welfare rather then trying harder)

@CostlyChris You are so correct. Ive been speaking on this issue more and more these days. It drives me crazy that a black man that robs, steals, drug deals, and kills, is considered "realer", and "blacker", than one that speaks correctly, wants to go to school, get a carreer/ wants to work for their money. Its expecially horrible for the future of blacks, because the kids are being raides to believe that being a thug/rapper/video vixen is what it is to be black these days. Its so sad to see.
