  • It is fantastic when I see a woman, who is more knowledgable than me about firearms, and most importantly has as much passion as I do. Yes it is a very boring place without y'all. Thank you so much for uploading this. I love the revolver, and the tutorial.

  • Hey, FOD, I just wanted to also add "great work on these videos". I've seen this one and the one that compares 3 smaller guns (LC9, Glock 26, and Nano, iirc). I subbed you, and tried to comment with some love, but kept getting some "Error, try again" message from youtube or my browser. wanted to try again here, just to say, "great stuff". sub me back to look at my "racking the slide" if you have time. You may want to change that method. thx!

  • JUST WEAR THOSE SHOES WHEN YOU DROP BY MY HOUSE

  • Nice shoes tho lol

  • you are not in a bar do you have to say f-this and that every couple of words, really dude???

  • Saw a man pull his side arm on a kid because the kid kept swinging his AR and wouldn't stop pointing it at him. Cops took the kid away...

  • @kitfisto07 there wasn't an armed range officer?....

  • 7 shot .357?

  • @Cantb001 Actually, there are also 8 shot versions of the .357Magnum. Taurus and S&W make 7 and 8 shot revolvers, S&W 686 and 627 respectively. Good weapons. You can't do it with the heavier rounds and, of course, the .454 and up use only 5 hole cylinders, but the .357 is just a Party.

  • Fuck the rules. I live in MA and shoot in the woods... MA thinks that is illegal, I say MA can go to hell

  • How about reloading?

  • Why can't there be more women like you, beautiful and dangerous, perfect.

  • Good informative video. I have an extra rule that people should also take into consideration: Some ranges have target sliders without a pulley system, and therefore you may have to pull the target down the range to your desired distance. Make sure the firing line is clear before you go down there to move your target. Also be curteous and let the other shooters fire off a mag. :) Have fun and be safe. ;)

  • I love your videos. Good job!

  • I also think it's dumb to bring a shotgun (like a Mosin Nagant or 50 cal) to an indoor range. It is so irritating to try and concentrate and the guy next to you is shooting a rifle at 15' feet in front of himself and shredding the target! Give me a break! Sorry.,. just had to vent and you gave me the chance to do just that!! Thanks kiddo...

  • Loud conversation annoys me! Guys teaching another guy who has never shot before and doing it so loudly that the entire 15 lanes can hear his advise. Be considerate of others please! Thanks Destinee, good video!

  • put your cell phone on vibrate! i have had some one next to me get a call while i was shooting my taurus .22 mag in single action and theyre cellphone go off and it scared the crap out of me!!!

  • So, I loaded this vid and a vid of the "miss universe 2011 bikini segment" at the same time. I was watching the bikini vid and listening to this vid until FOD started talking about the S&W. I closed the bikini vid to watch her show the smith. I need help.

  • Love this video.... :-) Esp. the emo part...

The only thing I can think to add (and that I deal with on a regular basis) is not to touch the firearms while people are down range switching out targets. I have had to kick people off my range for doing just that, and then sassing me because they think I couldn't possibly the RSO or for that matter, a member of the executive committee.

  • that 686 is hot and so r U =)

  • Why can't I find single women like you here in Dallas? You like guns as much as I do, and know your way around them. It'd make getting to know women so much easier if they wanted to talk about guns. LOL

  • I came here for the legs. :(

  • alright, alright, you got me. I love you. :D

  • I wish I could get you at my local range. I think the pervs would actually listen to you because the won't listen to me.

  • lmao @ 5:50 :)

  • Ditto on the Another Don't comments. Don't walk to your target and stand there gawking or comparing notes with your buds. Post your targets and get back to the shooting stations.

  • Another 'Don't' - Don't make everyone else wait for you. At ranges where you walk downrange to change your target, don't be the last one back away from the firing line when the cease fire is called and don't be the last one to return from changing your target. Seems to be consistent that there's always some guy who 40 people are waiting for every time.

  • WoW those shoes are ALMOST hotter than that 686. LOL You make guns fun.... ER.

  • Great video once again. When I'm at the range or have any kind of weapon in my hand. I simply go by the motto "don't be dumb." Cause while around weapons is the last place to be a goof ball. And be aware of your surroundings. Just like Driving defensively, also shoot defensively. Cause unfortunately common sense is in short supply in the world we live in.

  • I loled about Rule #9. I pretty much always wear a t-shirt when I go to the range to keep the girls safe :D Not such a big deal when you're shooting a revolver (I shoot my old Colt PP a lot), but I find it's also a distraction to others if I'm showing off a bit much.

Cool to see another chick on here. I often feel like I'm one of the few female shooters in the world. I subscribed ;)

  • I've shot at a lot of different ranges over the years and they all have similiar safety rules but many have different rules regarding behaviour. The 4 rules of firearms safety are always standard but rules regarding when you can go downrange seem to vary.

The behaviour of children is a biggie. If your kid cannot stay under your direct supervision and be quiet then he/she is too young to be on the range. I've seen too many yelling and screaming kids brought to the range and left unsupervised.

  • Nice video- great tips!

  • I'm new to Destinee's fan club. Found you through Hickok's pages. I am learning so much between the generations. I want to know: Your style is similar to my daughters speed leadership commedy quirky and big tallent. One thing I know bout y'all is that the 20s have there own rhythm. I don't know the age range in this post but I know that in this day, 40 somethings have a more "not in the club" creepy feel than when I was ur age. Could u maybe just say a few words on this topic? Seems weird I know

  • Very well done! Great information! Sadly not everyone will take this great advice.

  • I wonder, how does wearing high heels affect shooting?

  • @pookatim Screws with your balance and your posture. Kinda like shooting on unsteady terrain.

  • Oh yeah... who drilled that nasty hole in the side of your poor S&W? Need to get that fixed. :-)

  • I just need to correct you on one particular item. Ladies... PLEASE! By all means, DO wear "those shoes!" Those were smokin'! :-) If ya wanna get all tacticool & stuff, then "Train like ya fight! If those are the shoes you wear every day (and I certainly would encourage that!) then those are what ya wear to the range!"

Seriously, how do you wear those things? We get gals show up from time to time in tall heels. I watch 'em. Not being a perve (well, maybe just a little) but it amazes me.

  • Those are some amazing legs Des... Amazing!

  • did you just buy those shoes for this vid or did you already have them ???????

  • nice style of videos

  • lol.... about the hot casings check out jeff3230, his wife got hit with the .44 down the blouse.

  • i love the dan wesson .357MAG revolver, i actually show that in the one video i did for the tactical idol video, along with the ruger, they are a great classic simple revolver

  • There's nothing wrong with looking down the barrel.. The barrel should be checked for obstructions as well as being unloaded and is easier to do with a revolver!

  • i once had piece of hot brass lodge between my saftey glasses and my eye ouch!!!

  • never bring up politics, sports, or religion with ANYONE you don't know. you'd be amazed at what sets people off.

  • you are such a fun girl to watch.

  • @FateofDestinee nice heels i think they would be ok for you to wear shooting sexy! :)

  • I wish I could clone your DNA and make one of you for me..or for the world. WHERE are all the gun girls man???? I see my buddy Hicapaity is onto you too, HAH HAHa, he is awesome BTW.

  • I love that charcoal picture. Very cool!!

  • Revolvers PwN! Get a S&W 500 it's the coolest gun EVAR! =)

  • @FireArmsResQ Lol That's no gun... that's a HAND CANNON! :p

  • @FireArmsResQ (...it's on the list heheh)

  • i don't know if things to add to the video but your a beautiful woman and your smart and knows how to fire a gun. all the makings of my future wife ; P lmao jk thanks for the video

  • @grayfoxx11 Haha That's too kind. I don't think I'm all that special - I just like to shoot, and share my enthusiasm with others! Thanks for watching.

  • @FateofDestinee Well what Originally got me to start watching your vlogs is the video on The Beretta M9, I don't own a gun Yet and was just wanted to get some info from someone who's had hands on experience and is around my age and gave some useful info and you filled all of those haha. whats your suggestion for Shotguns? I once owned a 12 gauge Remington 870 nice gun! but im looking for something a little more upgradable.

  • @FateofDestinee well You are Wrong! You are very special! wow nice artwork by the way, it reminds me of the 'face on mars' but hey im just weird! p.s if those were Your legs they are smoking! p.p.s You should dress up as an Emo more often too :)

  • Keep your action open and pointed down range when you set the gun down. You may know its empty but it makes others around you know its empty and that's good so everyone knows

  • @utahbigdodge Great pointer! One of my ranges requires you put a flag in the chamber for that very purpose.

  • EWWWWWWWWWWW........nasty jewess. Pfffffft!

  • @911wuzjews Lo siento, no entendí lo que tuvo la intención de decir con este, pero el idea fue perdido conmigo. ¿Puede traducirlo en otra ídioma o, por lo menos, clarificarlo?

  • @FateofDestinee EWWWWWWWWWWW! NASTY jewess.

  • Some novas shooters are lacking on safety. Sweeping another person with a firearm is a big problem that I see at ranges.

  • @skipwadoo I see that all the time, too. Yikes!

  • I would rub them feet after a long day of shooting!

  • i disagree with number 8. the second amendment was built so the government dont try some silly shit with us, the people.

  • @mindfuckerification I'm only offering guidelines :]

  • Loved the 357 and the art

    Enjoying all the videos

  • @Megzamani Thanks much! I know I'm not a stellar artist, but I enjoy the process. And I still take the Magnum to the range all the time. It's a classic ;] Thanks again!

  • Jared Leto at 5:43

  • @ironcityblue Lol he does seem to be fond of that style of eyeliner, huh? Too funny.

  • @FateofDestinee not to mention you never see him and Kristen Stewart in the same place at the same time. Just saying.

  • "don't talk about your ex" LOL I laughed so hard at that :)

it was cool seeing you on Hickok 45's channel by the way!

  • @judofry Oh good, I'm glad to get a laugh out of that remark. heheh And I loved getting to shoot with him and Big John. That was an awesome time!

  • Sort of off topic ... I bet U get tons of emails asking for a date.

I think your videos are well made, and I love your sense of humor. Something about a woman who loves to shoot a firearm.

Want to go on a shooting date?... Just kidding...well maybe..... :)

  • @cbarsonfire Lol once in a great while, but I'm pretty sure they're just joking. But I love an excuse to hit the range! lol Kidding aside, I'm glad you enjoy the vids. That makes it worth all the time and effort. Thank you :]

  • lol, that goth look was fucking hilarious!

  • @PDigi2o3 Glad you got a kick out of that. Personally, I thought it was pretty damn silly. I couldn't hardly keep a straight face lol

  • 357 and .38 is the same bullet basically.

    .223 is a high powered 22.

  • @MrManboobie Amazing how they can be so similar, but have such a different kick! haha I like shooting either.

  • i have no clue how i got here... just sayin

  • @onelaststand1 lulz

  • X 2 lulz

  • There is a reason why I don't wanna see women when watching gear or gun reviews... Now I have a semi-boner... What to do?...

  • @gaynfancy not sure... time to get a gf?

  • @FateofDestinee can't stop laughing. but you're right somehow. nice channel btw!

  • @gaynfancy Lol that was my aim ;] Glad you dig the channel. Thanks.

  • @FateofDestinee LMFAO!

  • I've got a good tip for that Emo chick on what not to do at the range. DO NOT shoot other people!

  • @AmericanMade72 Haha or anyone! :p

  • You make some great video and your too beautiful for words

  • @blacknight19832 Glad you enjoyed the vid. And oh man, I don't think I'm all that special, but thanks for the kind words.

  • Yeah, those are solid rules. Nice video.

  • @alajeff Thankya ;D

  • hey this is a lot better than those "Special Forces" guys at the range, except they've never been in the SF. lol

Man these guys are commenting like they've never seen attractive female shooters, lol.

  • @PersonalGeek Haha thanks, man.

  • @FateofDestinee: you're welcome... man! lol

  • Comment removed

  • Those are the exact heels i wear to the range! Good video!

  • @MKPSG12 Hahaha Don't raid my closet! I don't like to share clothes - just ask my sister :p

  • you are awesome, great job..

  • @bigmodaco Haha I don't know about that, but I'm glad you enjoyed the vid, regardless.

  • Hum. I wonder if you're a more accurate shooter than I am? :)

  • @JoeAndIAmJustMe I'm far from an expert shot, but I try to get a little better every time I visit the range.

  • But Destinee, aren't you supposed to train the way you fight? I mean, if you're walking out of the restaurant with your significant other while wearing those neat heels, and someone should happen to attempt to accost the two of you, wouldn't you want to know that you could still hit them while looking good? Also, is it wrong to ask a woman with a low cut top(who has brass fly into her shirt) if she would like some help? LOL, just a question.

  • @SergeantZippo Lol I think you're just trying to make a case for the Gun Bimbos :p hahahaha

  • @FateofDestinee LOL, Even the Gun Bimbos need lovin'! ;)

  • mmm. You just made my gun discharge. ;) lmao

  • @eljoelmagnifico keep you'd finger off the trigger!

  • @FateofDestinee looking in the barrel aint a bad thing, just had a friend in the club range with a stuck bullet and was reloding while i saw in split second as he fliped the gun in the pit direction " that barrels too dark" and here overseas we are not alowed magnum charge ( or 357 and 44) only " specials" and he was not totally legal this day, so if hed pulled that trigger... i think hed lose the barrel and maybe loose a couple of fingers in the process too... so look down that barrel.

  • @transdetendal Oh wow, that's scary! Thanks for sharing.

  • @FateofDestinee no problem ,shooting here is for fun ,stay funny and stay safe.

  • Thanks for promoting safe shooting and proper etiquette! I'm new to the shooting sports and it's good to see people going about it the right way. Just because we like guns doesn't mean we're dangerous hicks right haha, keep up the great work! Nice charcoal drawing btw, I've always been envious of artistic ability haha

  • @Natemire My pleasure. I know it isn't a complete list, but I do hope to get people thinking about it a little, you know? And I'm not super talented (there are so many amazing artists who could just mop the floor with me - even in my own classes haha) but I really enjoy it :]

  • @FateofDestinee hey as long as you're making people think about things like etiquette and safety you're spreading a good message. Also, no one is ever the best at anything (referring to your art) but you have to take pride in the talents you have. keep it up!

  • I like you!........You can over to my house and shoot my guns. lol. My wife is not into guns. She will go to the range with me, once in a blue moon. I have better luck getting my daughter to go. Great video! Great safety tips!

  • @hammerdrop30 Lol thanks. I hope between you and your daughter, your wife will change her mind. Shooting is so much fun!

  • Good video.. A lot of people need to learn this kind of stuff. A lot of dumbasses at my range

  • @HiCapacity I see a surprising amount of breaking these rules at my ranges... I think it never hurts to go over range etiquette, even if you aren't a new shooter, you know?

  • @FateofDestinee It's true.

  • Great tips!

  • @br1an419 Thanks!

  • You did miss something. A date with me!!

  • @bradleywalters1 Lmao... Is that one of the things "to do" or "not to do" at the range?

  • @FateofDestinee

    "To do"? :P

  • You actually do look pretty damn good in the emo style. :p

Hitting the range in Amy Lee corsets and stompy boots could actually be functional though.

  • @Halo4Lyf Haha thank you. I felt ridiculously silly in that getup. It took a while to get me to keep a straight face.

  • Comment removed

  • I want you. You are a very pretty lady and have awesome points.

  • @HolyShize o.0 well, I'm glad you liked the vid lol Thanks for watching.

  • at 5:50 your lips were creeping me out

  • @BALJIT147 Lol that was soooo much eyeliner! It took forever to scrub that off after the vid lol

  • @FateofDestinee lol guess you won't be doing that again

  • I'd love to shoot all over her

  • very nice eyes....good vid too lol

  • @TitanTony407 Well, thank you, kindly. On both counts.

  • Where I shoot, lots of people show up with loaded pistols on their hips. That said, all the people who work at the range carry as well. Maybe that's something particular to my state, I don't know, but in PA entering a range showroom with a loaded firearm on your person isn't an issue so long as it's not in your hand when you do!

  • @TJ347 Haha that's a great point ;] Out here in WI, conceal carry goes into effect in just a couple days. I can't wait!

  • Here's another tip. If you see Tom from weaponseducation at your range with his guns, RUN THE HELL OUT OF THERE!!!!!!!

  • You are an amazing artist!!

  • @nutz4beauty I definitely don't think I'm amazing lol There are many far more talented than myself, but it's still fun even considering that :]

  • I think I'm in love. You just earned another suscriber

  • @Probuilt7 THEY'RE TWINS!! I'm more of a semi auto girl, but there's just something about a Smith and Wesson that just gets me lol

  • I dont know..Lots of Obama bashing goes on at the range I go to.Um I think your a great artist but that does not look like you..LOL,,Great video .But its for girls..Or some guys I guess..

  • @runninonempiy It's an homage á Alberto Giacometti... and I drew it before I cut my hair, back when it was halfway down my back lol

  • What I don't like is people talking and laughing at the range. Disturbs my concentration.

  • @yska08 Yeah, sometimes when I go, there are young guys having there own little testosterone fests and they are loud and obnoxious (and often unsafe) and that makes it less of an enjoyable experience for those who have to share the range space with them. :/

  • Cute toes and nice gun.....

  • @bligrigs Lol well, thank you.

  • Wow, a female that knows what she is talking about, isn't clueless on the range, and those heels and legs, just wow.

  • @ZionistInfidel Thank you, kindly :]

  • Rule 1, no chicks allowed. If I had dime for every time I saw a woman screw up at the range, I would have $100. A few years back I saw a really hot woman accidentally shoot herself in the thigh, thankfully it was a .22. They closed the whole place down for the day and sent everyone home. So no women on the range, not even female officers, who can forget the vid with the female cop who almost shot the perps head off while her partner was putting on the handcuffs on him.

  • @1fatbastard Your satire supporting more training for women shooters is spot on. This satire is the mark of intelligence. Thanks to guys like you, more women are being introduced to firearms every day. Thankfully, men like you take it upon themselves to train women, rather than exclude them. Because, what's even more scary is the fact that many states don't require any live fire training to carry a concealed weapon... and who wants a bunch of non-range trained women concealing weapons, right?

  • Why do some ranges limit rapid fire?

  • @TheForestKan Because rapid firing can cause loss of control the gun and aim. And you may shoot someone. Specially if the gun is big, and the shooter small. Its usually indoor ranges that are anal about it. I have never had issues with outdoor ranges.

  • Nice painting by the way.

  • @tmcneil1918 It's actually a charcoal drawing, but thank you :]

  • Sooo, wearing a Dead Kennedys T-shirt and blasting G.G. Allin on my iPod while plugging six rounds clear through the centre-circle is a BAD idea. Damn, that explains a LOT.

  • @tmcneil1918 Lmao! Might get ya some shifty-eyed looks... :p

  • excellent vid, much needed on youtube.

    subbed.

  • @onedwr Thank you very much. I hope it's helpful for some, and, in the least, entertaining for others lol

  • I have the same 686 and love it too. It's so well balanced isn't it?

  • @ThunderChief41 I think so... I really enjoy firing it double action :D

  • Love the hells thu (; lol

  • @FreddyIzLive spelling: hells/HEELS thu/THOUGH

  • @FreddyIzLive Lol thanks.

  • (-= FoD

  • @FreddyIzLive ^_^

  • A rule of thumb that I see at alot of the ranges where I shoot (mostly rifle ranges) is that "If you have a chamber flag, it stays in the action/chamber until you are at the line ready to go hot on the firing line".

  • @kill3r197 That's a good one. One of my ranges requires those.
